Stage of crush or love for anokhi ??

Anokhi's love realization has not been fully epitomized....there has been bit of awkwardness..

I think anokhi is now in a stage of strong admiration...craze or infatuation...and yes..emotional connection is there...but i don't think she is in love in true sense yet...

So giving CV's would have kept it post shagun heartbreak...where she could be most probably avoiding the attention she has been enjoying till now...though broken inside...i guess that will be the stage of love realization..trust for anokhi...her true realization is yet to come...now analysing past many episodes..i felt it's the fancies of a barely out of teen 20yr old..though emotional attachment can't be ignored...

Shaurya had his course of love very well...we have been privy to his self talks... his pain...insecurities...jealousy..emotions..his realization has happened..and whatever left will be clarified post shagun's entry...on how much badi maa can manipulate him...using his psyche..may using anokhi-ahir to make him vulnerable...

There is a very fine line between friendship, crush, love and obsession and they can manifest themselves as each other depending on circumstances and level of reciprocation.

To me crush is all about admiration and physical attraction. It is normally one sided and has very little of emotional reciprocation. I wondered today as I was penning this down what Shagun and Shaurya felt for each other. A crush on Shagun's end and a friendship on Shaurya's end? I saw a snippet from another show where the hero laments that he spent 7 years of his life thinking his friendship was his love, now that he knows what love is, he has a hard time accepting anything less.

What is unique about Shaurya and Anokhi's relationship is that they started with emotional connect rather than physical attraction. They tend to fill in the emotional void in each other's life- Anokhi constantly forces an outlet for Shaurya to share his emotions and thoughts and she provides "haq se care" regardless of personal risks while Shaurya provides her much needed material and emotional support and appreciation that she has lacked all her life regardless of who he is up against. She feels special and cherished.

I would think they are both in love, but the emotion is so new to them that they struggle with the depth and reality of that emotion and what they are willing to risk for it. Shaurya is well settled for most part financially and professionally so he has ample time to devote and think about his love life but Anokhi is a scholarship student who has more real world concerns like wellbeing of her mother and sister and completing her education pressing on her so the price of losing is greater on her end. I don't mind the whole Shagun intervention because it allows them to further decide what is important to them and depth of their emotion. This is not going to be an easy fight for them and they need to trust what they feel for each other given the amount of manipulation they will have to go through.

Shaurya is more sure because he is older but also because he has had what he thought was love once before. In other words he has something to compare his current feelings to and know this is more right, stronger and soulful than what he might have ever felt in past.

Anokhi has nothing to compare her feelings with ,so she seems flighty and fanciful. She keeps wondering if she is in it alone and if she is imagining things. She is so innocent that she has not realized that Ahir likes her yet. In fact if Reema did not bring it up, she would have continued to think that she admires and respects Shaurya instead of ever thinking of love. She is also not confident that Shaurya could like her given on paper, he is a dream while she has very little to offer him.

I agree with what you said. I don't think Anokhi is in love yet. She is experiencing a new feeling wherein she is getting the attention of the person who has somehow become very special for her. This makes her feel good and she is liking the feeling. She has a long way to go.

Beautifully said. I loved that bit about Shaurya being well settled while Anokhi is still way too young and is taking the first steps towards her career.

If the show decides to explore this aspect of their relationship in the future, it would be so good and fresh for ITV. Like how are they going to find a balance. That is something I look forward to.

I am just wondering if this is purposeful or just ignorance on part of writers to make Anokhi kind of attracted to Shaurya without really knowing him - All the she might know is he dislikes his mother, I guess she still does not know why and all... She seems to be in bliss for two reasons, she is clearly attracted to him for everything he has done for her and gone to extent to just ensure she does not leave SIAC..."

I do think Anokhi is in love... She has way more reasons to be in love than Shaurya I feel... I for once want to erase that bit of scene where Reema blabbers about Shaurya's liking from my mind and then watch the journey...

1. Sudden realization of Shaurya being her fav. Person (it was absurd, but fine... She had to show a point of starting... Would have loved if she had some flashbacks before she left for Kapurthala.. But oh well...)..

2. After whole kidnapping act of Shaurya.. The only time she actually calmed down was when Shaurya said this is the last time we are probably meeting... She was nervous about the idea and hence decided to give it a thought..

3. She was so affected by Shaurya's low thinking about her that she decided to leave...

4. Everything Astha told Shaan was relevant..

All. Of these before Reema blabbered was kind of indication of her fondness and liking towards Shaurya.. He has been her saviour yaar... For her that's like a big deal... As much as I don't like that she has been Damsel in Distress.. I do believe that has huge impact... On emotions.. And one chance she got to take care of him for all he has done.. She was swoon away...

But makers... Grrr... They have completely screwed up her feelings stage as if it's something to rushed... And illogical but fine.....

I simply do NOT want Anokhi to have a jealousy track over Shaurya... I am fed up of Ahir already... Ek aur nai... I want her to be sensible, calm and organized while dealing with the whole thing..

Anokhi is mostly influenced by Reema i guess for falling in to the dream world so soon...feelings still would have been there...but we wouldn't find it rushed...the admiration has been the base of all i guess...

Just my different opinion is that she isn't really influenced by Reema... I think she was already basking in his Attention and knowing he saved her during riots, convinced Anokhi to go back (though Sorry was just blah... Rather than real one it actually put Nikki on the guilt trip).. And all that kind of confirmed her attraction to him.... She had these feelings since 10 episodes before Rima pointed it out..

I have been a silent member in this forum. Even I had the same thoughts as you about Shaurya and Anokhi's realization so couldn't stop myself from making this post. Yes I feel Anokhi has more reasons to fall in love than Shaurya. Subconsciously she was giving lot of importance to him. That's why she was ready to leave the college when she found that he had such a bad opinion about her character. And as Astha said only he could convince her to come back. No one else could convince her. She was also feeling bad that Shaurya left her and went during the riots. She had expectations from him. But she is not trying to know him more. She doesn't know much about him other than that he looses his temper. I am surprised that she has not tried to find out the reason for his anger with his mother and father. In that way Shaurya was more interested to know her problem with her father. Maybe at least now they can show her talking with her Astha mam regarding Shaurya. Even I am totally fed up with Ahir track. It is going round and round. Hope the Shagun track doesn't turn out like this. It would be good if they show both Shaurya and Anokhi having a proper conversation instead of misunderstanding each other. This story has so many sub plots. Hope they touch upon that instead of Ahir and Shagun.

Anokhi always had so many reasons to fall for him... I was just surprised that makers didn't show mutual admiration or her falling first... Though she might be the one to develop feelings earlier than Shaurya...

I wasn't keen on MU tracks to be continued here, but seems like they will... And I feel they are going overboard with Ahir and Shaurya... Like is that Shaurya's nature? Then show him jealous in other aspects too... Why just revolve around Ahir..
