That’s absolutely true. But here the circumstances are different right. If he truely loves her he wouldn’t so callously not suggest such a measure, as a doctor for so many years they will know the after effects of withdrawal .

even though he might be a coward and a spineless person, he loves Devi. He wouldn’t put her in harm.

they could have added a scene were he gets to meet her or atleast video call but CVS didn’t have the mood to add that scene 🙈

Both decided to share this info when they get caught .This is what made it worse . He is already angry for betraying his trust so he won’t think logically and won’t trust them again so easily .
