Well I don’t know about Sai she is still “ studying” to be a doctor. But wouldn’t a doctor know about the medicines side effects and withdrawal. Devi tai was not accessible and even if something happens immediate help could be provided. Although do go and get a refund from pulkits medical college. It was a risk taken whose after effects could also have been attended to.

Why didn't he invite Dean to the wedding, other professors etc?

Virat did give him an option, get married after proving your are unmarried, why didn't Pulkit have anything, esp after Sai telling him the fake evidence Virat has.
