First watch mein my pakaauedness with Malini was making me zone out all the scenes she was in😛.....bada mushkil ho raha hai isko jhelna after the bakwaas she did to Imlie in the previous epi....but as usual, makers expect us to forget all that and buy the "bechaari Malini" act all the time😆with you on it. Btw dunno if you already mentioned this kahin but what exactly did Malini mean when she told her Mom ki Aditya told her aisa kuch nahin hai? 😕😆.....Did Adi really say that to her in the gale padu scene? Did I like zone out her nonsense to that extent ki mujhe memory loss ho gaya?😕😆....All I remember of Adi in that scene was his SADMA face when Malini pointed out that he doesn't call her Moon anymore🤣.....uske aage peechhe ab khaas yaad nahin aa raha but I just got a general sense of him trying to deflect her questions and avoiding answering....the usual stuff basically.....lol but did he actually tell her ki sab theek hai?😕😆......

Anyways, major LOL@ Malini wanting the Zimmedaari tag from Adi now......but likely only cuz Adi called IMLIE his zimmedaari there😆.....REFLEX reaction aaya phir Didi se ki MAIN Zimmedaari kyun nahin....MUJHE do title, Imlie ko nahin😆......without realizing the irony ki Imlie ko toh yeh title chahiye bhi nahin tha🤣....itna bhi nahin jaanti Adi ko that zimmedaari is a formality in his eyes....but that is what she is craving rather than actually finding a connect with him.

Rofl he never said sab theek hai.. i just went back to check all he said is aapse galti nahi hui when she is flipping on himmke humse kuch galat ho gaya while in his head he is simultaneously going aap samajhddaaar rant and then saying hum aapko aur dard kaise dein . .. and then she pounced on him. And then when she mentioned the moon bit he in shock denied it and said aisa nahi hai but he was too dazed at that reveal as he himself hadn't realized it

But didi being didi took that as affirmation ke sab theek Hai between them caz he said tumse galati nah hui toh what else she needs... adi actually never answered that bit caz imlie came before and not like he had any answer either to give..

Rofl didi ne ek unsaid competition create kar lia hai apne head main imlie se jo imlie ka woh mera doesn't matter uska context kya hai .. Rofl itni bechaini thi inhe zimmedari tag lene ki without realizing what it means in Adi ki dictionary agar adi ko jaanti hoti toh pata hota na and agar itni si bhi akkal hoti toh yaad aa jaata isse ke adi has been using zimmedaari for imlie since ages..and how but nahi isko sirf competition jitna hai. Too much for am superior than imlie as adi ki wife and social status when isko issi se ladna hai 😆

Gulaal is still in a league of its own, man.....there was palpable angst in that story written on a marvelous multi-level scale. Imlie is writing some amazingly unique angst too with Adi-Imlie but I think on an overall level the script isn't a match for Gulaal.....here, Adi-Imlie elevate it to another level with the kind of characters they are....and the situation they are in. Can't say that as much for the supporting storylines/character scenes.

But I suppose if we were to compare, the one common thread would be the way an unconventional relationship between two characters is viewed. In Gulaal, it was the unusual bond b/w GK, and the way their marriage ended up happening.....here, it's the unique bond that Adi-Imlie share that has grown in the midst of the most unlikely of circumstances, against all odds....and then the way they are viewed because of the complication of Adi's second marriage.....much more difficult circumstances for them to navigate than just the internal conflicts that kept GK apart in a sense.😆

That reminds me, the first Dev-Imlie convo also showed that Imlie wants to call all this "emotion sickness" cuz she wants to label it a disease rather than acknowledge the truth of her feelings......the way she said that all she wants to do is be happy in life but this kambakht beemaari is making her life miserable😆.....Arey Imliya, usko beemari samjhogi toh aisa hi lagega....lol....they have potential to navigate Imlie's emotions interestingly too but dunno kitna in depth jaayenge.

I think what she was trying to do was sow the seed of shak in aparna's mind too i Don't think it was intentional yet but it came from the kind of person she is she has that shak so she wants everyone to view everything like that only.. caz come on 3 hrs isn't that big a deal given the kind of person person showed adi to be who is always out and about here or there getting distracted for work.. no big deal.of he probably stopped somewhere on his way back but didi ko curiosity thi and shak tha so she managed to make an issue out of a non issue too..

Again it comes down to trust only she wants to hold a register jahan ek ek sec ka hisaab ho

LOL again, sorry if I'm repeating something and this already got discussed.....but delayed LOL@ Adi saying to Imlie, "bacchi ho kya"? 😆

Yehi aadmi was determinedly trying to call her a bacchi just last month when he wanted to downplay her status in his life😆....ab suddenly realize ho raha hai ki woh bacchi nahin hai 😆

Also how cute was Imlie bumping her head against the window while trying to eagerly look out at the balloons😆....the expression on her face and the way she turned to look at Adi after bumping her head.....Sumbul did that ADORABLY😆

I am sorry but I don’t know how the the tagging of members works on post so just will say to all that I have loved the follow ups indeed each episode becomes poetic and symbolic with each scene and one that love literature can relate with. The essence is of the whole journey and in it the roles they all shall play.

I meant similarities and complexity in terms of KG/Vasant and adi imlie /malini angle only though usme bhi bohat difference hai simply because here it is bigamy where there it was a whole different thing.. ofcourse gulaal.is still superior in terms of navigating every single character with so much layering and having their own journey . Isi liye bola na no chappals for me😆 I know

But still since then i don't think kisi ne 2 main characters ko bhi itne fine way main carry kia hai.. itna kuch touch upon kia hai tackle kia hai like the writers here hence the comparison happened 😆

Bechari imlie is itni masoom and isko phir jab labels milte hain na toh dukhta hai 😑 this is the girl who names her feelings as a sickness as a beemari that she wishes to get rid of for the greater good of all. But nahi 😐 phir bhi yeahi buri banti hai..

I hope they do focus on imlie ka internal conflict just as they have been doing with adi.. so fat this show still has managed to give a better understanding on imlie and have given her introspection and viewpoints something that just lacks on wider level jahan sirf ML pe focus hota hai and FL is supposed to get along yahan atleast imlie is given that much importance with bhi miracle hai but I would want more too am greedy

After catching up on the thread, I had to ofc see the episode again with fresh eyes and yes all the points that were written about, made such perfect sense.

One thing I would like to mention is that when Adi had the monologue - thinking that Imlie would be v hurt by seeing Malini hug him and that she would be crying in a corner, hiding from everyone. He badly wants to clear her misconception on the hug and is desperate to talk to her. He also says that once they get home, there won't be an opportunity to talk.

so when Malini offers to stay behind, he jumps at the chance, it is a gift on a golden platter and forcefully takes Imlie away with him, home. I have to hand it to GM here, he was impassive, but restless to get going, knew that Anu was taunting him, waiting for him to slip, still he kept an impassive face, escorting Imlie to the car, opening the door.. all of that was marvellously done as was the gift collection of the assorted items. ST was simply cute in the car and in the convo with DEv, so heartbreakingly innocent- how do I stop feeling these emotions, I dont want to feel them. 💔 That was a poignant line that tugged and pulled me in on my rewatch, her expressions were fab here.

@bold: Oh yes, this was really finely navigated by GM....lol even I noticed on a rewatch the way Adi kept an impassive face to contain his happiness that he's going to get a chance to talk to Imlie after all....but then trying to keep it low key in front of Malini/AC as much as he could too to not betray that he would rather prefer to have alone time with Imlie😆.

That said, I have to laugh that no matter how "smooth" Adi tries to be, he still can't help himself from blurting out things like "I was looking for you everywhere" to Imlie right in front of Malini/AC😆.....even that shows a clear sign of where his attention is these days but he doesn't think to hold himself back on those little things😆.

Word on the Dev-Imlie scene too.....I really wanted to give our pyari si maasoom girl a hug there....she plays the innocent earnestness in Imlie so SO well🤗
