Also, one more thing, maybe story-wise the show isn't that morally aligned as you said but I strongly feel most people watch this show because of the amazing leads and overall impeccable screenplay of the show.

I personally think Imlie has the best screenplay amongst all ITV shows as of now. Though I won't compel you to watch it because of your obvious moral conflict and I respect your choice.

Amaya dear chill, did not we love ross and Rachel together even when they dated and ross married Emily. It's just that leads chemistry is so good we tend to forget the loopholes of this show.

Just chill and enjoy it.

Malini will get her own happiness, don't worry.

Well I am not a regular viewer of the show but have the vague idea of the storyline ..the latest promo of imlie and Aditya caught my attention ...I found their behaviour deplorable ...I can't understand how cheating is justified here or Am I somewhere wrong in judging these characters??

I have complaints for the writers.

(Wanna clear one thing I am not fan of any character or actor . I even don't know the names of actors)

1. What made Aditya fell in love with Imlie? How his seven years old love and his wife suddenly became a no one for him and imlie became his whole world that he even seeks imlie permission before applying colour on Malini?

2. Malini is unaware . She doesn't know she is a second wife so I can't understand people justifying imlie and Aditya by saying she is his first wife ...I mean imlie knows he is also involved with another girl..how imlie is so comfortable in sharing aditya? No one deserves a man like Aditya tbvh ...today he is considering imlie his wife and giving rights to her who knows 2mrw his heart changes and he starts feeling for Malini and then he would like to give rights of wife to her as well...if imlie still wants that man in her life then atleast she first tell Aditya to sort things between Malini and him...let Malini know the truth so that she can decide what she wants in her life...this man has totally ruined her life!

I can't understand why our writers are hell bent in showing toxic relationships and even if our male lead is a jerk they still adamant in showing both the females going crazy for him and compromising with their honours/ morals respectively!!

Cheating should not be justified!

P.s: guys I am not a hater ...I just feel like sharing my opinion ...I apologise if I hurt sentiments of any of you :)

If you haven’t watched from the beginning then I suggest go watch then you will understand what you’re thinking or writing is so wrong. #adilie. Based on promo you can’t predict or know the whole story. Half knowledge is very dangerous but your is no knowledge about the show at all in whatever sense you think.

I might have not watched every episode rigoursly but sorry him being married to imlie first with all the rituals doesn't change the fact that he is a two timer ...he got married to a girl and kept her in dark ... didn't tell her that he is already married and now keeping relationship with his first wife is called cheating!!

Why can't he choose one? And how he fell in love with imlie? Where his love for Malini has gone?

What consequences he is facing? The crying sessions? Man is enjoying holi and at the end he will live happily ever after with imlie and malini will be turned into a vamp by our itv writers inorder to justify leads!!

Their was no love in Aditya and Malini relation. Who will not get jealous and Malini likes to play Holi but Aditya don’t play so she stopped playing. Aise Mann marke jeene ko pyaar nahi kehte. #adilie

I just want to add some extra notes!

Putting the "Moral" aside, coz from my perspective, none of the 3 leads is in full fault or characterless, they are just normal humans with their good and bad, who try to navigate their path in life, who took bad decisions which they thought it was right at that time, and they face the complications of it now! So I feel for the 3!! All of them deserve a happy ending!

We suggest to her to watch, coz she wants a clarification, that she is not ready to understand no matter how much we will have to explain to her, as you see, even at this thread while all of us love this show, we all have different perspective, and that is the beauty of this show, it is not 1 dimensional story! So may be she will have her own perspective of the show different than you and me! at least this time will be based on a solid ground of acknowledgment!

Nowadays I watch several shows, not one or two, it was more than 7 😄 some old and most of them are new!

This is the only show that stand among them all, I skipped watching a lot of them

I usually only recommend bepannah and ipkknd(kushi and Arnav) to frnds and family, coz they are my favorite, for their storyline, characters and every thing, but they have this cliche of ITV!

And my husband is not a tv person at all, so I never recommend him to watch anything if I am not sure it is damn good!

We will pinch watching it in the summer holiday!

Yaar chodo na amaya ki POV bola usmd kya hai rai kaa pahad banaraheho story mein hi bada locha hai phir bhi mast bhait key we watch just to pass the time everybody in this forum know this is a remake of a kachra story ishti kutumb and if this will also go in exactly same way then we should be ready for worst also thats it no worries just fasten the seatbelt and watch where ever u don’t like close the eyes

Adi is a conflicted man and while that might be chalked down to his being human, he is a weak human and is a cheater and a bigamist. Not sure of the validity of his first marriage which happened under gun point under coercion without the volition of either bride or groom. His second marriage though happened with mutual consent.

Adi is a bigamist, no one can question that, and bigamy is a crime. He is a cheater because he married Malini knowing full well what happened with him in Pagdandia. He is taking advantage of Imlie’s innocence and blind belief that he is her husband no matter the circumstances of their marriage.

Adi is an educated man, a man of the world, older, wiser than Imlie. He is a married man, he himself told Imlie he doesn’t consider himself married to her. So filling her maang with sindhur, acting lovey dovey with her, is tantamount to taking advantage of a young girl that is dependent on him.

Adi either needs to have the guts to divorce Malini and make Imlie his only wife or divorce Imlie, let go of her and not obsess after a young, helpless, innocent girl and provide her the means to go to college and stand on her own two feet.

Adi is not a good man, conflicted or not, taking advantage of two women, whatever the status of either relationship, is just plain wrong. Do acknowledge this is a story and Adi is just a character but it behooves to analyze his flawed character and point out the glaring gaps in his convoluted behavior.

I wnated to post in this forum many times but I always see that if anyone posts anything that goes against most of the people they start insulting that post maker. Adilie fans are crazy here that should not be ok I think. I mean being adilies fan is completely ok but bashing others who is not a fan and want to think rationally is really not ok.

I understand that Imlie is first wife but what about 7 years that Malini gave in a relationship. Adi could have told Malini the truth. Adi kept insulting Implie all these days and now he has fallen in love ??? Falling in love is that easy keya?

Adi is cheating both Imlie and Malini. I don't see anything that can justify adis rude behavior. Adi is a cheater in the sense he hide the truth of his being married to Malini. Now he suddenly fell in love with Imlie. relationships are not that easy. Leaving a relationship is also not easy. Even if Adi and Imlie are right but what about the time and emotion Malini invested in this relationship???????????????

Umm how does imlie being first wife play into this when Aditya himself didn’t consider their marriage to be valid nor shown any inclination towards carrying it out when they got married...Aditya went ahead and married Malini who is unaware of this entire thing..chalo anyway adi initially thought he wouldn’t have any relationship with Imlie he felt he would not disclose it to malini considering her health and stuff..now when he has growing feelings for imlie, the first thing he should be doing is confessing it to Malini who thinks she is the ONLY wife of Aditya. But no Adi and imlie tho are hell bent on playing mahaan..the more they drag the more it’s going to hurt malini who is well intentioned despite her unintentional emotional manipulation. Imlie call all the well play First wife and take whole haq on the planet but till then the more Aditya and imlie get close keeping malini in dark, it is ‘Cheating’.

understand the leads are layered and characters are not one dimensional but that doesn’t justify what is happening with Malini. And just cause the leads have good chemistry doesn’t automatically make them ‘destined’ and right at expense of destroying someone else
