There is absolutely no point to making posts for discussions if you come with preconceived notions on what the characters are based on a two bit promo without having watched about 120 episodes. Request you to watch them and then post. That will give you answers to pretty much every question you have for the writers.

I don't have anything against anyone but what is the deal of people in this forum telling what others to post? Lmao.

It's a public forum and people can post whatever they want. Nobody gets to decide.

Show dekhe ya na dekhe, they get to make the post. Abhi if the post was in favour of the leads, I'm sure a lot of people won't be talking to OP like this. People need to understand and accept conflicting opinions here.

You did the same to me when I made my first post.

Aditya doesn't care about malini. I care more about the baby squirrel which i got 2 days ago than adi cares about his 7 years girlfriend and second wife😂 Sometimes you need to be selfish to achieve happiness and aditya wants to be happy😁 i shouldn't criticize more than this😉

And yeah aditya is a cheater but will never feel guilty for spoiling a woman's life.

I think this show is all about circumstances. The situations forced Imlie to marry Aditya to save his life. But his ego couldn’t accept that someone forced him against his will, and also he has a strong relationship with Malini. So he went ahead and got married to her. As you said he could have come clean, but again the circumstances played role here, as he got scared of hurting Malini.

But at the same time he cared for Imlie on a humanitarian basis as she have nowhere to go. At the same time he tried convincing Imlie to let go of their forced relationship and move forward with her life, but she is very much rooted to her belief and faith “only one husband per life”.

All his life Malini succumbed to his stubbornness but here Imlie’s stubbornness on her beliefs stumped him off the ground. Her selflessness, intelligence, strength and being his humraaz in hiding his secrets made him feel that she is his soulmate. Also here after learning her past and parents a sense of protectiveness rooted in his feelings for her.

And everything is fair love and war. No one is perfect in this world. He is not cheating either of his wives for his pleasure. He is trying to protect Imlie from villagers and past. He is trying to protect Malini from the hurt she has to suffer from all the truths. I don’t think the show is promoting bigamy but instead it shows the struggle of each character to stay truthful to their hearts.

This show projects the struggles faced by each of these characters being bitten by the fate and circumstances. The actors are doing a fabulous job. This is my first Indian show almost after 10 years and I got hooked to it completely. Great story telling, script, editing, dialogues and actors.

Hope you enjoy the show

Hey Amaya, first of all hi and welcome to the forum. Hope you're doing well.

If you look from a critical perspective, Aditya shouldn't have married Malini. Or rather told her the truth even if she got sick. If she got sick then, she can also get sick now after knowing the truth.

BUT. I don't really Sympathize with Malini as a character other than the fact Adi married her despite being already married. Malini is a really selfish character in herself. She arm-twists Aditya into doing a lot of things.

About Aditya. He's an idiot when it came to handling the PG truth but that's his truth. That's how the character is formed. He is inherently flawed and it's quite evident Adi can do anything for himself and those he loves. So that shows he's a gray shade character.

The only innocent one here is Imlie. The poor girl is pure-hearted and has had no fault. I think what attracts audiences including myself to the show is the complicated relationship of Aditya-Imlie. We know there are a quite lot grey areas and agree too but I guess, ITV needed a bolder theme and this show provides that.

So people liking this show shouldn't bother anybody ig. It doesn't promote any hatred or violence against anyone so I don't see why you feel so strongly against people watching this show.

Marriage is not about getting the best one ...it's about finding best in the one you have chosen for you . Aditya leaving Malini just because now he feels more lively with Imlie is not a " pursuit of happiness" this is selfishness....we can't normalise it . Divorce is welcomed if the separation is mutual or if one gets married to an abuser.

Anyways that's just my views not want to spread any hate campaign against Imlie or Aditya after all it is just a show ...sorry if I hurt the sentiments of any of you ❤️

I feel you have hardly watched the show !

@bold If we are talking about taking this show in context, then Malini and Aditya's relationship doesnt come under this category. Neither Aditya is dominating or Malini in anyway financially dependent. She is mature working lady belonging to an affluent family with very supportive parents. Infact her mother doesn't think twice before threatening Tripathi's or Aditya. If anyone its who is most vulnerable in entire scenario is Imlie. Being 19 year old with no financial backing, family name or formal education and stuck in such a situation is a nightmare...

I think every person is here in pursuit of happiness, whether through relationship or career. Selfishness isn't bad thing always. It doesn't make sense of Aditya to stay married to Malini, if he knows his happiness doesn't lie with Malini. Your advice would have been applicable if Aditya hadn't found Imlie. My opinion would have been same if Malini would have fell in love with someone else instead of Aditya. Whoever drives the divorce but it will be right thing for both .They are newly married, doesn't have any kids or other responsibility, so if they separate today, damage will be lot less than divorcing each after few years.

I will not defend the storyline or plot,

I will not defend the characters!

I will not go over the whole 100+ episodes and explain what happened and why!

I will just tell you one thing!

This show is a (( piece of art ))!!

I really not kidding her, and I am not advertising for it!

I think it "Imlie" as a show is a revolution in Indian TV history !

it is the first show I ever watched which go beyond cliché!

no spoon feeding, it depend in your logic!

as most of us here Adili, and you could find some other out their shipping Adini, but all of us once in a while disagree in some ideas and split to teams! everybody of us have his own feelings and stand of the characters and their decisions

maybe you felt bad of how we are reacting to your feed her, because we are just tired of explain the show idea and defend the plot which receive so much hate and negative vibes from others who just not watching the show or watching clips her and their without watching the bigger picture and just latching on the idea of (( 7 years relation ))

and it receive this much hate just because it is a hit show now!

plz, logically, is relations measure it is strong by how much you spend time in them?
so why ppl get divorce after 25+years marriage with older sons!

give it a try, watch it, bear with it till E#60 something (dil sai) episode at least, don't skip anything , if you did not like it and found that assumptions of you are true , come here and tell us that (( I WAS RIGHT ))

If you liked it, you will be hooked and addicted too, and you will be most welcome to engage with us in discussions! we here love to write long long post about our feelings of the episodes! you will enjoy the ride as much as we are, and you will be just like us, if somebody come and post something like this

consider my request, and have a good day

Hey Amaya, watch the show from the beginning to follow how the story unravels. Yes adi is a flawed character who is stuck in the conundrum of two marriages, due to impulsive decisions he made out of fear, ego and guilt at the time of both marriages. Regardless of the fact that it was a forced marriage, the fact remains that he did get married to imlie first with rasam, rivaaz etc with a lot of the villagers as witnesses. Malini was still a fiancee at that point. Also technically he has started telling imlie that malini deserves to know the truth, so she can move on and adilie can move on as well. In a court of law the legality of the second marriage will come into question with the first one still being unresolved. Yes it is a bad situation, but he has never cheated on malini, in fact even when had no feelings for imlie , he was always careful to not hurt malini in any way.
