I'm personally not a huge fan of this movie, I like the books better.

But yes, it was an artistic masterpiece.

Was an excellent movie

The first movie may not be that great but this has so much potential to become a great series. The ambience Dibakar created had such a graphic novel feel to it. The hardwork was visible in every frame of every scene. The story and screenplay could have been better but still a uniquely nice movie. And the music😙👌

I loved this movie!! I wish they had followed it with more movies.

I never read the books but I have followed all of Anjan Dutt's Byomkesh movies where Abir was fantastic. I watched hoichoi web-series with Anirban last year. That was okay. Dibakar's Byomkesh was slick and exciting, edgier and fancier than the others. I loved the dark, mysterious 1940s Kolkata he created. I wanted to see more of it!! I hope someday he continues or another director familiar with Kolkata picks it up.

I haven't watched Anirban's BB though I've heard rave reviews about it; also I love Anirban as an actor.

Anirban is good as small screen Byomkesh, Abir as Byomkesh though tops the list for me.
