Well the bonding between prem and preet was very sweet. Harman was the least attached of the brothers. LOL the closest they ever came to have two brothers fall for one girl was Harman ditching Mahek to marry Maya, Preet marrying Mahek, then after some time Harman becoming unhappy in his marriage with Maya seeing what Maya is like and what Maya and his relationship is like compared to how Mahek behaves with Preet and how Preet-Mahek had such a sweet and healthy marriage.
Harman-Maya marriage was basically Harman not being happy with how Maya doesn't seem to give a shit about his family or even give a shit about him or even give him minimal respect, but then he would see how happy Preet is with Mahek and how Mahek is so caring towards both Preet and the family and somewhere just from him face and expressions you could tell he regretted rejecting Mahek for Maya, even though he was decent to never voice it in words or act upon his regrets like a villain would.
Anyways, even if Harman hadn't ditched Mahek on their marriage day to marry Maya and he actually married Mahek, he would have never appreciated her and realised her worth or good qualities compared to Maya, so Harman marrying Maya and experiencing what kind of a poor relationship he has with her then witnessing Mahek being a good wife for his younger brother was needed to make him really respect and appreciate Mahek.
Looking at these old Balaji serials you really do feel Balaji serials have deteriorated and gotten boring, although the only thing I don't miss from old Balaji was the switching of pairings/ leads.
