I’ve been eagerly waiting to hear Ankush sing again and the pics of his and Priyanshi’s duet on Instagram were like pyaase ko paani dikhana. I can’t wait!

I can def relate to this 😆

Today's episode was superior to whatever Indian Idol put up in the entire season man.

Well I have been saying it for weeks now that Priyanshi is crushing hard on Ankush 😆

Her body language, attitude during duets were a dead giveaway. When I told my peeps they laughed it off but Karan Wahi ma man, you did the job for me 😆 although poor girl just admitted her crush on national tv 😆

I am sure Ankush's girl was on set too, not sure how she liked that confession 🤣 Dont worry Abhiruchi, we root for ya guys 😆

Btw did u notice Priyanshi's expression when he grabbed her hand to take her on stage? 😆 Speaking of that part, Ankush has started acting and all haan, he's turning into the hero I knew he would be 😉

Ankush is definitely still very professional. I meant he's learned how to flirt during a romantic duet. Did you see all the isharey he was doing while singing? And yeah, I definitely noticed Priyanshi's every expression. ☺️🙈

Speaking of Ankush's acting, have you seen his new music video Saajna? The one whose announcement almost made us think he's getting engaged? 😅😂

Yes looks like our boy has been practicing in front of the mirror 😆 btw ur married na, don't blush so much in front of the husband 😆 i am single so can do whatever i like, u see 🤣 Priyanshi is 2001 born, making her 20 whereas Ankush is 28 (1992)...no wonder she blushed ❤️

Haan I saw the music video na, I saw the premiere. 😆 It was such a nice song but the mv... didn't like it that much. Clips seemed too random and not well placed. Plus I would've liked to see Senjuti in it as his love interest since she sang a few lines too, its fair right.

I mean they might be a couple in real life but Ankush looks way too young, they needed a baby faced heroine or someone at least 5 years younger than him...the difference was very jarring.

I aint shaming them tho, they are happy in real life and good for them but from a video viewpoint you know what I mean.

That being said Ankush is definitely upping his acting game and I am loving it ❤️

Dude WTH, I am not married! Even the thought scares me. 😅 Heck, I've never even been in a relationship ever. 😂 I've just entered my 20s and I'm single so I'm good to blush as much as I want... Only I have to be careful not to do that in front of my parents. 🤣

My opinion is similar about the music video. The song is amazing (singing, lyrics, composition, everything) but the screenplay didn't make sense, neither did it flow together smoothly. Biggest thing was that the plot line just didn't work out for me. Like how were they going out and dating and all if the girl had such a strict family? And once the family did take her away from the wedding venue, it surprised me that she was still allowed to have her phone and stay in contact with the guy. And towards the end, the guy could just walk into the girl's house to check on her. Where was her entire family who were so against her getting married to the boy of her choice? Judging by the way she was dragged away from the temple, I assumed she'd be under house arrest. The ending was also not good. It was bad enough to see Ankush in so much pain (even if he was acting) but it just did not make sense how the girl chose to kill herself over this. That's why I couldn't feel for her. It would have made more sense if they were separated by forces beyond their control, like the girl getting forcefully married away, or dying in an accident or something.

The audio was much more gripping than the video IMO.

And yeah, I see what you mean about the on-screen pairing. It didn't bother me too much, but you're not wrong.

I had the exact same thoughts on the video. I was yelling at the screen also, that dude check ur phone don't eat those pills!!!!

I cannot imagine a girl coming from such an Orthodox family doing the beach romance or late night guitar sessions. And what bothered me even more was the fact that they used pictures and footage from Ek Tere Bajon and in that mv these two were very happy together, no signs of family dispute...that too was jarring if ukwim. Lack of continuity.

Also we did not get enough info to root for them, like how these days there is a minute or two of skits before the song starts so that the relationship is established. We needed that here.

The on screen pairing bothered me because the mv surrounded them. There has to be some sort of "balance" na. I am sure they are the same age irl but Ankush looks wayy too young, he could pass for 20 araam se. He and I have the same problem- babyface 😆

Like in Bollywood there's Varun Dhawan, he can easily romance a 19/20 year old on screen and it wouldn't be jarring. Shahid Kapoor is another such example.

That's why they needed a babyface or younger heroine. There are some faces that never age so the director needs to cast younger actresses opposite such heroes.

Oh, I understand ur emotions completely now 😆

Luckily I saw Ankush properly last year and not when Idol first aired (that was 2018 and I would've been 21, definitely would've had the same 'problem' then ☺️😆)

I am not sure if anyone agrees, but I found the Vande Matram endition very very average🤔 Specially Mika trying to take an alaap Even beyond that, on the whole it was very sub standard. Actually, the song initself is so powerful, add to it the visuals of the Indian team winning the cup, it is enough to give goosebumps to anyone. But really a let down as for singing bit.

This week's performances on the whole were not as good. I found only Irfan to be absolutely amazing👏 Maybe due to the teams competing, or maybe the song selection, it wasnt up to standards. Even Neha, Shilpa, Kailash were not impressive.

Watching the episode super late (catching up from after spring break lol) I’m not a huge fan of either the Punjab or UP teams so I had low expectations but I genuinely enjoyed the performances and the episode overall (Rupali, Payal-Rupam and Asees-Shehnaaz’s performances in particular). Mika-Rupali’s Chaiya Chaiya I liked it but the only thing I didn’t like was Mika saying Thaiya idk it was weird. UP’s Mukabala Mukabala sounded so auto tuned it was very off putting. They had a good performance visually and that’s why I picked Punjab over them this episode.

I absolutely love Rahman’s Vande Mahatrahm but that performance was so random and out of sync, I appreciated the effort but it was a cacophony imo especially Mika and Salman screaming in it ugh

Mumbai vs Delhi

So they’re doing that Mumbai vs Delhi fights (team Mumbai always btw lol since it’s my birthplace) and I overall like the Mumbai team better and the only person in Delhi who I like is Neha.

I adored the small Shilpa and Neha moment after her performance. Overall though I preferred Mumbai’s performance overall. Like I said before none from the Delhi team is impressive to me besides Neha.
