Urmila and Sumitra were in kitchen, preparing the plates with the food. Sumitra was getting tears in her eyes. Urmila looks at her and found her wiping her tears again and again.

URMILA- choti maa..

She keeps her hand on Sumitra's back and caresses her making her relax. Sumitra nods her head and wipes her tears with her saree's end.

SUMITRA- I.. I am.. fine..

Said Sumitra continuing her work. Urmila kept on looking at her.

SUMITRA- ek kam karo.. Manvi aur Shruti se kaho ye plates le jaye.. aur kaho ki Bharat aur Shatrughan ko khana khila de..

Said Sumitra showing her the two plates kept at their front.

SUMITRA- tum tino bhi.. kha lo..

URMILA- and you..?

Urmila interrupts her while Sumitra shook her head denying.

SUMITRA- mera mann nahi hai Urmila..

Urmila nods in disbelief and holds Sumitra from her shoulders.

URMILA- mann kisi ka nahi hai choti maa. But we have to eat something to stay strong.

Sumitra again shook her head looking at Urmila.

URMILA- hamari body to hamare mann se nahi chalti na.. khane se chalti hai.. aur.. filhal ek hi patient kafi hai. We can't afford you to fall sick..

Urmila joked trying to lighten Sumitra's mood. Sumitra giggles at her words and wipes her tears. She lightly hits Urmila's head.

SUMITRA- pagal..

Their conversation got interrupted by Manvi and Shruti. Both the ladies looks at the girls moving towards them.

SUMITRA- acha hua tum dono agayi.. take this food for Bharat and Shatrughan. Dono mana karenge but zabardasti khila dena..

Said Sumitra almost in an order while Manvi and Shruti nods at her in yes.

SUMITRA- and Urmila.. call Lakshman and tell him to have something.. Ram Siya and didi ko bhi khila de kuch..

Urmila nods at her in agreement. Shruti looks at the plates and then at Sumitra.

SHRUTI- and what about you choti maa.?

Asked Shruti gaining Sumitra's attention. She smiles at her lightly.

SUMITRA- me bhi kha lungi.. don't worry..

Manvi looks at Urmila who indicates her to not worry as she is with Sumitra. She smiles at Urmila and leaves from there with Shruti taking the food plates.

Manvi enters her room and finds Bharat resting his head on the couch having his eyes closed. She moves towards him and keeps the plate on the table gaining his attention. He sits straight while she settled down beside him.

MANVI- kuch kha lijiye Bharat..

Said Manvi keeping her hand on his shoulder. He sighed and shook his head denying.

BHARAT- mera mann nahi hai Manvi.. aap.. aap kha lijiye aapne subah se kuch nahi khaya hai..

Said Bharat and closed his eyes pressing his forehead lightly. Manvi watches him doing that.

MANVI- sarr dard hai.?

Bharat opens his eyes to look at her. He lightly nods his head in yes. She gets up from her place and moves towards the side table of the bed. She took her medicine and again settled down beside him.

MANVI- ye meri migraine ki tablet hai. You have it you will feel better..

Bharat forwards his hand to take the medicine while she denied giving it to him. He looks at her in confusion.

MANVI- pehele khana.. then medicine..

Bharat rolls his eyes in disbelief. Manvi takes the plate in her hand and takes a spoon near him.

BHARAT- Manvi..??

MANVI- aapko pata nahi hai kya.? To have medicine you have to have food..

Said Manvi sounding strict this time. Bharat sighed not saying anything further. She again takes the spoon towards him and he eat it without denying further.

MANVI- jiju ki help karni hai na to handle everything.?

Asked Manvi feeding him another spoon while Bharat nods in agreement.

MANVI- then.? You have to stay strong and energetic..

Said Manvi feeding him another spoon. Bharat smile at her lightly. She was about to feed him another when he stop her by holding her hand.

BHARAT- you too have to feel energetic.. bhabhi ke liye..

Said Bharat asking her to eat. Manvi smile at him and nods in disbelief. He makes her to eat the next bite while Manvi caresses his face lightly.

MANVI- don't worry.. sab theek hojayega..

Bharat gulped his tears as he don't want to cry again making Manvi to feel bad. He nods his head in agreement while Manvi feeds him another bite...

Shruti was too feeding Shatrughan sitting on the bed of their room.

SHATRUGHAN- mmm.. bas.. Shruti..

Shatrughan denied to have another bite of the "chapati" while Shruti gave a look at him.

SHRUTI- zidd mat karo Shatrughan..finish it all..

Said Shruti almost scolding him while he started drinking a glass of water.

SHATRUGHAN- kha li mene ek roti. Now I don't want anything.

Said Shatrughan getting angry on her. Shruti again takes a bite near him while he looks at her in disbelief.

SHRUTI- kha rahe ho ya me choti maa ko bulau.?

Shruti warns him taking Sumitra's name. Shatrughan silently have the bite saying nothing in return. He watches her with a light smile.

SHATRUGHAN- tumne khaya ?

Asked Shatrughan for which Shruti shook her head denying. He takes a bite from the plate and feeds her.

SHATRUGHAN- mujhe datne ke liye energy chahiye hogi na tumhe..

Said Shatrughan feeding her another bite while Shruti giggles at him. At the next moment Shatrughan's eyes gets moist while Shruti shook her head asking him to not cry.

SHRUTI- no cookie.. please don't cry..

She requests him by wiping his tears while Shatrughan drinks water to control his emotions.

SHRUTI- papa theek hojayenge. And maa too.. will get fine..

Shatrughan bows his head down when Shruti takes Kranti's name. She knows that he is worried for his mother too.

SHRUTI- and now jiju is here.. tab to bilkul sab theek hoga..

Said Shruti feeding him another bite. Shatrughan looks at her and nods his head in agreement. He takes a spoon and feeds Shruti while she smiles at him...

Kranti was watching Dashrath through the glass panel of the door of his ward. She was having tears in her eyes watching her husband resting himself on the bed. Ram and Siya were sitting at the couch busy in their respective thoughts. Lakshman came there having a small tray in his hand.

LAKSHMAN- bhaiya.. bhabhi..

He offered both of them a cup of coffee which he was carrying on the tray. Ram looks at the direction of Kranti while Siya observed him.

SIYA- Lakshman.. maa ko bhi do..

Siya instructs him for which he nods his head in agreement.

LAKSHMAN- ji bhabhi..

He hands the tray to Siya and took a cup of coffee near Kranti. He hesitate to call her standing at her behind.

LAKSHMAN- maa..

Kranti turns around immediately when Lakshman called her.

LAKSHMAN- ayiye.. coffee pi lijiye.. have some rest..

Said Lakshman asking Kranti to settle down on the couch. She nods her head lightly and Lakshman took her at the couch in front of Ram and Siya. Ram was about to have a sip when his cellphone rang.

RAM- yes Sumant ji..?

Ram received the call from Sumant gaining everyone's attention.

SUMANT- Ram.. how is sir.?

Asked Sumant sounding tensed.

RAM- ab theek hai. Rest kar rahe hai..

Said Ram having a sip of his coffee while Sumant sighed in relief.

SUMANT- ok.. what about visiting hours.?

RAM- ya. I will message you..

Said Ram for which Sumant nods in agreement.

SUMANT- one more thing Ram.. I mean.. I don't know if I should ask this now..

Sumant stammer to ask him for which Ram looks confused.

RAM- kahiye na Sumant ji.. what happened.?

SUMANT- actually.. some phone calls were there from the reporters. Asking about Dashrath sir..

Ram closed his eyes feeling frustrated. He sighed and answered him back.

RAM- let it go Sumant ji. We don't need to tell them anything..

Sumant nods his head when Ram instructs him.

SUMANT- ok.. if anything is there, do call me..

Ram smile at his gesture.

RAM- sure Sumant ji.. thank you..

He disconnects the call and looks at Kranti who was having her coffee looking down. Siya's cellphone rang disturbing his concentration.

SIYA- papa hai..

Said Siya looking at her phone's screen. She excused herself handing her cup to Ram and moves aside to have a talk with Janak.

SIYA- yes papa.?

JANAK- Siya.. is everything fine there.?

Asked Janak sounding tensed about Dashrath's health.

SIYA- ji. Angioplasty is done.. papa is taking rest now..

Janak sighed in relief hearing from Siya. He looks at everyone and nods his head indicating that Dashrath is fine.

SIYA- I am sorry.. I could not inform you..

JANAK- it's ok beta.. we were just worrying for Dashrath ji..

Said Janak looking at everyone who were still awake for the knowing the news of Dashrath.

SIYA- ok papa. Now you all can sleep. Me kal bat karti hu.

Said Siya looking at the time while Janak smile lightly.

JANAK- acha Siya.. me aur Kushal.. kal Mumbai ate hai.. to meet Dashrath ji..

Said Janak looking at Kushal who nods at him in agreement.

SIYA- no papa.. abhi uski zarurat nahi hai.. I mean papa will be here for two days. Aur hospital me waise bhi itne visitors allowed nahi hai.. once he gets discharge then you can come..

Said Siya denying Janak politely to cancel his Mumbai visiting plan. Janak nods at her in agreement.

JANAK- ok.. this will do..

SIYA- ok papa.. good night.

Siya disconnect the call and turns to look at Kranti who was now sitting alone as Lakshman was sitting beside Ram. She moves towards her and keeps her hand on Kranti's lap to gain her attention. Kranti motioned her eyes to look at Siya.

SIYA- maa.. you have some sleep now. Subah se aapki bhag daud hui hai..

Siya suggested her in a low voice. Ram and Lakshman observed them hearing their conversation. Kranti takes Siya's hand in her hold.

KRANTI- tumhare papa.. theek hojayenge na Siya.?

Questioned Kranti looking scared. Ram gulped witnessing Kranti's words. Siya smile at her lightly.

SIYA- wo already theek hai maa.. it's just that we have to take his more care now..

Said Siya caressing her hand lightly. Kranti shook her head in yes agreeing with Siya's words. She tightens the grip on Siya's hand and rests her head on the couch closing her eyes while Siya caresses her forehead lightly. Ram watches both of them having a light tears in his eyes...

Next morning, Manvi was lightening the diya in front of God at the temple. She joined her hands in front of the idol praying for Dashrath's health. She turns around to find Sumitra coming towards her.

SUMITRA- Manvi.. kal.. Bharat aur Shatrughan ne khana kha liya tha.?

Asked Sumitra for which Manvi nods at her in yes.

MANVI- ji choti maa.. aur abhi bhi dono so rahe hai. Kal late hogaya tha na..

Manvi told her about Bharat and Shatrughan while Sumitra nods her head.

SUMITRA- koi bat nahi. Sone do unko.. thoda rest kar lenge.

Manvi smile at her lightly.

SUMITRA- acha.. hospital se koi call aya.?

Asked Sumitra for which Manvi sighed and nods in yes.

MANVI- Siya didi ka aya tha. Papa ko ward me shift kar diya hai..

Sumitra sighed in relief hearing about Dashrath.

SUMITRA- and.. how is didi.?

Sumitra asked about Kranti's wellness for which Manvi answered her.

MANVI- maa theek hai. Kal dii ne unhe thoda khana khila diya tha.

Sumitra smile at her lightly. She thinks something and said further.

SUMITRA- visiting hours me, hum sab hospital chalte hai. And unn charo ko ghar bhej dete hai, to get fresh and to have some rest..

Said Sumitra about asking Ram and Siya to have some rest in Raghuvanshi palace. Manvi looks at her saying nothing. Sumitra watches her expressions and soon reality strikes her when she realised what she said.

SUMITRA- oh.. wo.. log.. kaise..?

She knows that Ram Siya and Lakshman will not come home to take rest or for anything else. Sumitra scratches her head thinking something when Manvi interrupts.

MANVI- don't worry choti maa.. dii ne kaha that they will manage in hospital's rest room.

Sumitra looks sad but didn't said anything further. She nods at her in agreement.

MANVI- me breakfast bana deti hu. We have to carry at hospital too right..?

Asked Manvi for which Sumitra nods at her in agreement. She leaves from there towards the kitchen while Sumitra faces the God's idol.

SUMITRA- bas abhi bhagwan.. aur kitna patience check karenge aap hamara.?

Sumitra became emotional saying few words to the almighty. She knows that she will not get any response but still she has to ask some questions to him.

SUMITRA- aur kitne dukh likhe hai hum sab ke life me.? Ab to khushiyon ko iss ghar ka address de dijiye bhagwan..

Sumitra requested joining her hands in front of the God. A tear drops from her eyes and she immediately wipes it.

SUMITRA- janti hu me.. aapne hume bohot khushiya di hai.. aur isiliye ye dukh humse jhele nahi ja rahe..

Said Sumitra controlling her tears. She wipes her tears completely and looks at the God's idol.

SUMITRA- Ram aur Siya ko iss ghar me wapis lauta dijiye bhagwan..aur hum sab par apni blessings hamesha rakhiye..

Said Sumitra closing her eyes praying to the God about the wellness of her family...

Dashrath opens his eyes slowly, trying to gain his consciousness. The vision was blurred in front of him for a moment but then he immediately recognised his surrounding.

RAM- papa...

Dashrath looks at his right side to find Ram smiling at him lightly. An automatic smile crept on Dashrath's face looking at his beloved son near him. He tried to get up from his place when Ram stops him by placing his hand at Dashrath's back.

RAM- no papa.. take rest..

Said Ram not allowing him to get up. Dashrath looks at his other side to find Siya looking at him. He tried to forward his hand near her when she envelopes his hand in hers.

SIYA- now you are feeling better.?

Asked Siya with a positive smile for which Dashrath nods his head in yes. Siya lightly caresses his head.

SIYA- aap ne to hume dara diya papa.. not fair na..?

Dashrath smile at her lightly while Ram gets tears in his eyes. Siya motioned her eyes to look at him and keeps her hand on his back.

SIYA- see.. you made your son cry..

Dashrath followed her sight towards Ram and found tears in his eyes. He lightly shook his head.

DASHRATH- Ram...

He whispered in his weak voice for which Ram immediately wipes his tears and holds Dashrath's other hand.

RAM- it's not fair papa. You can't do this with us..

Said Ram in a complain for which Dashrath smile at him. Ram closed his eyes and kissed his father's hand feeling his touch.

DASHRATH- arey.. Ram..?

Dashrath gets amused looking at Ram's frightened expressions. Siya kept on caressing Ram's back making him relax.

DASHRATH- me.. theek hu beta...

Said Dashrath in a low voice for which Ram smile at him lightly.

DASHRATH- tum log.. kab aye.?

Questioned Dashrath looking at both of them.

DASHRATH- and.. everyone is here or what.? Sab log.. meri wajah se pareshan hai..

Said Dashrath sounding disappointed. Siya shook her head in no and caresses Dashrath's hand.

SIYA- aap ke wajah se nahi papa.. aap ke liye pareshan hai..

Dashrath smile at her words.

SIYA- hume adat nahi hai na, hamare papa ko aise dekhne ki.. that's why we get tense..

Dashrath tried to touch her cheek with his shivering hand while Siya holds his hand to give him support. Ram smile looking at them. Their moment got disturbed with a knock at the door. The three of them turns towards the door to look at the doctor who came there to check Dashrath.

DOCTOR- hello Mr Raghuvanshi.. how are you feeling now.?

Asked doctor with a positive smile. Siya leaves Dashrath's hold to give some space for the doctor while Ram stood at his position.

DASHRATH- I am fine doctor..

Answered Dashrath with a smile. The doctor started checking him with his stethoscope while Ram and Siya observed them.

DOCTOR- now you have to take your more care. You've to control your blood pressure level.. hai na.?

Said the doctor taking the BP apparatus from the table and was checking with Dashrath's blood pressure. After checking he looks at Ram and Siya.

DOCTOR- you have to take certain precautions now. Keep his cholesterol level under control. Understand.?

The doctor said the last line pointing his finger towards Dashrath.

DOCTOR- keep your diet healthy and stress less..

Ram's smile lessened for a moment hearing doctor asking Dashrath to stress less.

SIYA- yes doctor. He will definitely follow everything now..

Said Siya in a strict voice looking at Dashrath. The doctor turns to leave from there and stops in front of Ram.

DOCTOR- Ram.. please come in my cabin.. I want to discuss few things with you..

Ram nods at him in agreement while the doctor leaves from there. Siya smile looking at Dashrath and moves towards him.

SIYA- suna na aap ne papa.? You have to stress less now..

Dashrath chuckled at her while Ram folded his hands with a smile watching Siya giving his father few instructions and Dashrath listening to her orders. Their conversation was heard by Kranti who was standing at the door watching them. She smile between her tears witnessing their talks...

Yaarrr it was so much overwhelming that I can't find enough words to say.... Truly our father is the supporting pillar of our life who always stay strong no matter what... Never complaints about anything silently bears the problems to keep his children protected and happy... And if that pillar gets weak everything seems like felling apart... Totally loved the way wives are handling their husbands and supporting them.. The little conversation between Siya and Kranti was so heartwarming that it literally brings tears in the eyes.. Sad to see Sumitra in this way ...

Loved this update 😊 Urmila-Sumitra bonding and conversation, Manvi and Shruti taking care of Bharat and Shatrughan, that emotional moment of Dashrath, Ram and Siya- everything is soooo beautiful.
