Ram, Siya along with Lakshman came running inside the hospital searching for the reception to enquire. They were looking tensed, scared having tears in their eyes. Three of them looks straight at a desk and runs towards it.

SIYA- dash.. da... Dashrath.. Raghuvanshi..

Since Ram and Lakshman were not in a state to say anything, Siya herself asked to the receptionist at the table with her stammered voice. The lady checks her laptop and then face Siya to answer her.

RECEPTIONIST- ward number four.. straight down here..

Said the lady showing them the direction.

SIYA- thank you..

Siya thanked the lady and three of them started running towards Dashrath's ward. They stopped in between looking at everyone present there. Kranti sitting on the couch crying while Sumitra sitting beside her caressing her shoulder lightly. Shatrughan standing opposite to her looking shock while Shruti and Urmila standing beside him having tears in their eyes too. Bharat was standing at the middle looking at the door of the ward where Dashrath was admitted while Manvi was standing near him getting restless.

RAM- papa...

Finally a whispered word came out of Ram's mouth. He gulped his emotions and started taking small steps towards everyone gaining their attention. Siya and Lakshman followed him while Kranti motioned her eyes to look at Ram. Lakshman looks at Shatrughan and he runs towards his elder brother to embrace him in a tight hug. Lakshman started caressing his back giving him some strength while Urmila and Shruti gets teary looking at them. Ram stands in front of the door and watches Dashrath from the glass panel. He was sleeping on the operating bed, breathing through oxygen mask having the wires of machines attached to him. A tear drops from Siya's eyes who was standing just an inch behind Ram, watching Dashrath. She motioned her eyes to look at Ram who was having tears too. She keeps her hand on Ram's back to gain his attention. He blinks his eyes and wipes his tears turning towards Bharat who was staring him.

BHARAT- bhaiya..

He runs towards Ram and embrace him in a hug, crying for his father. Kranti too started crying looking at them while Siya looks at her sisters. She moves towards them and they have a sisterly hug together. Lakshman and Shatrughan too moves towards Ram and hug both of their brothers while crying.

SIYA- bas...

Siya release the girls from her embrace and wipes their tears. She looks at Sumitra who blinks her eyes at her asking her to control her emotions. Siya nods her head lightly and looks at Kranti. Ram's eyes too falls on Kranti who was crying having her eyes closed. He released his brothers from the hug and started moving towards Kranti. He settled down beside her.

RAM- maa..

Kranti opens her eyes immediately when Ram called her. She looks at her side and found him staring her with tears in his eyes.

KRANTI- Ram...

Ram immediately pulls his mother in his hug while Kranti started crying holding him.

KRANTI- tum..tumhare.. papa.. Ram...

Kranti shook her head crying continuously while others too became emotional. Ram was also getting tears in his eyes. He was about to cry when his eyes falls on Siya who was looking at him already.

SIYA- no Ram.. please control yourself. Don't cry now..

Said Siya in her heart talking with Ram trying to indicate him through her eyes. Ram kept on looking at her, reading her eyes.

SIYA- maa hai.. aap ke sabhi chote bhai hai.. sabko sambhalna hai.. you've to stay strong..

Siya continued saying in her heart staring Ram. She lightly shook her head in no asking him to not cry. Ram gulped his tears and lightly nods his head in yes, agreeing to her. He closed his eyes and let Kranti cry for sometime while Siya sighed looking at them. Ram kept on caressing Kranti's back while Sumitra keeps her hand on Kranti's lap giving her strength...

Janak and Kushal came running to the Rajrishi house from their office. Sunaina had called them and asked them to return as there was an important news from the Raghuvanshis. Both the ladies looks at the direction of Janak and Kushal.

KUSHAL- kya hua..? Sab theek hai na.?

Asked Kushal keeping their bags on the couch. Janak kept on looking at Sunaina waiting for her to speak.

SUNAINA- wo.. Dashrath ji.. has suffered from heart attack.

Janak and Kushal gets shocked hearing the news of Dashrath. Janak balanced himself by resting himself on the couch.

SUNAINA- abhi.. thodi der pehele.. Urmila ka call aya tha..

Said Sunaina informing both of them while Janak started thinking about Dashrath.

KUSHAL- Siya..? Un logo ko pata hai.?

Asked Kushal about Ram Siya and Lakshman. Chandra nods her head in agreement.

CHANDRA- wo log dopeher ko hi Mumbai ke liye nikal chuke the. Ab tak pohoch gaye honge..

Informed Chandra for which he nods his head. Sunaina looks at Janak who was still looking shocked with the news. She moves towards him and keeps her hand on his shoulder to gain his attention.

SUNAINA- doctor has asked to operate.. angioplasty chal rahi hai..

Janak motioned his eyes to look at Sunaina and then lightly nods his head. Sunaina settled down beside him while Chandra moves towards the temple to light the diya once again. Ever since they have heard the news of Dashrath, they are continuously praying God for his safety and successful operation. Sunaina watches her and prayed silently closing her eyes.

SUNAINA- bhagwan kare bhaisahab theek hojaye ..

Sunaina said in a low voice while Janak sighed closing his eyes for a moment praying for Dashrath.

SUNAINA- pata nahi ye kaisi musibate aan padi hai Raghuvanshi family par..

Sunaina sighed nodding her head in disbelief. Indeed Raghuvanshi family is going through the toughest time. Kushal looks at his watch for the time and then at Janak.

KUSHAL- ek bar call karke dekhe.?

Questioned Kushal for which Janak shook his head denying.

JANAK- filhal nahi..thoda time jane do.. rat me call karte hai..

Kushal nods at his elder brother in agreement. Janak sighed and closed his eyes when Ram's face came in front of his eyes. He immediately opens his eyes and turns to face Sunaina.

JANAK- Ram... Ram theek hai.?

Asked Janak to Sunaina who gave him a light nod, indicating that she don't know about him.

SUNAINA- pata nahi.. Urmila just informed about the news and didn't said anything further..Siya se meri bat nahi hui hai ab tak..

Janak nods his head in yes hearing her. Kushal moves towards Janak and settled down beside him.

KUSHAL- don't worry bhaiya.. Ram is strong.. wo sambhal jayega..aur sabko sambhal bhi lega..

Said Kushal giving some strength to Janak.

JANAK- Ram is strong I know. But today.. he is definitely going to loose his patience..

Said Janak getting worried for Ram. Kushal and Sunaina looks at each other and then at Janak who was busy thinking about Raghuvanshi family...

Ram holds the arm of the bench to balance himself and to gain support. He was in the garden of the hospital, keeping everyone inside, making everyone relaxed and now crying his heart out. He remembered the moment when Lakshman told him that Dashrath has suffered a heart attack. He was silent and numb from that time. Lakshman immediately called Siya to tell her the news and the three of them immediately leaves for Mumbai. Siya didn't talk with Ram anything as she knows he will be silent till he see Dashrath with his own eyes. The word "papa" came from his mouth when they reached the hospital, till then he was silent saying nothing. He settled down on the bench keeping his hands under his chin, busy in his thoughts. He remembers the conversation he had with Dashrath when they were in Delhi for Holi. How Dashrath was saying about his old age and departure which made Ram to worry for him since then. He sighed and closed his eyes thinking about his father's words. He hides his face in his palms while tears started forming in his eyes. Suddenly Ram felt someone's hand on his back and he knows the touch, the touch he was waiting for, the touch who has came there to pacify him, he knows only she could handle him at that time. He immediately looks at his side to find Siya sitting beside him and watching him. She could witness his red eyes, the painful eyes which wanted someone rather only her to soothe them. They both kept on looking at each other talking with each other through their eyes.

SIYA- Ram...

Siya called him in a low voice, breaking their silence.

SIYA- now.. you can cry..

Said Siya giving him permission to pour his feelings out. She has stopped him to cry in front of all so that he could handle everyone. But now she is asking him to cry in front of her.

SIYA- andar maa thi.. chote bhai the.. puri family thi.. unke samne aap rote, to unhe sambhalne wala koi nahi hota..

Said Siya having tears in her eyes too. Ram kept on watching her without blinking his eyes for once.

SIYA- but no one is here now. Bas me hu.. aur.. mere samne.. mere samne to aap.. ro hi sakte hai..

Siya nods her head in yes asking him to pour his emotions. Tears started getting down his cheek as soon as he heard Siya's words. He immediately wraps his arms around her, keeping his head near her chest having his eyes tightly closed. While Siya keeps her one hand on his head and other on his back, caressing him lightly. He was crying loudly, like a small baby while Siya kept on caressing his back allowing him to take his time.

RAM- Siya... Papa... Papa ko..

Ram stammered saying something between his cries. He was literally shivering and Siya could witness that. For the first time she has seen this side of Ram. He has always been a pillar for his family, but today he was falling weak, due to his father's health.

RAM- papa ko kuch... Hoga to nahi na...

Ram continued speaking while Siya tightens her grip on him.

SIYA- nahi Ram.. kuch nahi hoga.. he will be fine..

Said Siya between her cries while Ram closed his eyes tightly.

SIYA- wo.. wo theek hojayenge.. mujhe..pura yakeen hai..

Said Siya wiping her tears while Ram nods his head in yes. She kept on caressing his head lightly.

SIYA- aap hai na unke pas.. hum sab hai.. he will be fine.. I know..

Siya kept on giving him some positivity while Ram tried to calm himself down. After a while he leaves her hold and sit straight while she wipes his tears from his cheek.

RAM- Siss.. Siya...

He takes her hand in his and hold it tightly in his grip.

RAM- agar papa ko kuch hua.. to me khudko.. kabhi maaf nahi kar ... Paunga..

Said Ram while again fresh tears started coming down his eyes. Siya shook her head denying and wipes his tears before it hits the floor.

SIYA- don't say like this Ram.. believe in God. Wo hamare papa ko kuch nahi hone denge..

Said Siya sounding confident while Ram lightly nods his head in yes. She kissed his hands softly which was holding her hands and looks at him.

SIYA- aapko maa ko sambhalna hai Ram.. Bharat Lakshman Shatrughan ko sambhalna hai.. unhe aapki zarurat hai na..?

Ram nods his head in agreement hearing her words. He knows that it is his responsibility to handle his brothers and his mother. Suddenly he gets again emotional and looks at Siya.

RAM- me.. me kaise...??

Said Ram for which Siya interrupts him nodding her head in no.

SIYA- aap akele nahi hai na.. me hu aapke sath.. remember..?

Said Siya with a light smile. Ram controlled his tears and nods his head in agreement.

SIYA- you don't have to get weak Ram. Abhi bhi nahi aur jab papa theek hojaye tab bhi nahi...

Said Siya in an orderly tone for which Ram kept on watching her saying nothing. Siya lightly caresses his cheek.

SIYA- chaliye.. let's go in.?

Ram nods his head in agreement. Siya waited for him for a moment and gets up from her place. Ram was still holding her hand tightly. She caresses his head again gaining his attention. He looks at her and gets up from his place and both of them started moving inside...

Urmila was caressing Lakshman's lap looking at him while he rests his head on the couch closing his eyes.

LAKSHMAN- ye sab... Hamari wajah se.. horaha hai mila..

Said Lakshman in a low voice. Urmila looks at their around to find Kranti and Sumitra sitting in front while others standing at a distance. She sighed as no one heard his words which will make Kranti to feel more guilty.

LAKSHMAN- because of our family problems, Papa's health is effecting..

Said Lakshman nodding his head in no. Urmila touches his cheek to gain his attention.

URMILA- aisa nahi hai laksh.. stop blaming yourself..

Lakshman opens his eyes and turns his head to look at Urmila.

URMILA- this is not the time to blame ourselves or to others.. please don't do it..

Said Urmila giving him some strength. Lakshman holds her hand tightly and looks frightened.

LAKSHMAN- bhaiya pata nahi.. kaise honge.. I am feeling scared for him mila..

Urmila shook her head lightly.

URMILA- don't worry.. didi hai na.. wo unhe sambhal lengi. You all just handle yourself.

Bharat Manvi and Shatrughan Shruti too moves towards them standing around them. Shruti keeps her hand on Urmila's shoulder while Manvi caresses Lakshman's head.

MANVI- Urmila is right.. aap sabko apne emotions control karne honge.. so that it will be easy for jiju..

Said Manvi looking at Bharat who nods his head in agreement.

SHRUTI- aap tino ko bhi jiju ki help karni hai.. to handle everything..

Said Shruti keeping her other hand on Shatrughan's back while he sighed controlling his tears. Their conversation gets interrupted by Ram and Siya who has came near them. Lakshman and Urmila gets up from their seat as Ram and Siya moves towards them. Ram smile at his brothers lightly and patted Shatrughan's shoulder asking them to stay strong. The brothers nods at him in agreement while Kranti watches them. She gets tears in her eyes watching her children's bond and understanding amongst each other. Sumitra turns to face her and said nothing.

DOCTOR- excuse me..

Everyone looks at the doctor who interrupts their family time. Ram moves towards him while his brothers stood behind him at a distance.

RAM- yes doctor..?

DOCTOR- Ram.. angioplasty is successfully completed. He is fine now..

Everyone sighed in relief hearing that Dashrath is out of danger and is fine. Ram closed his eyes for a moment thanking to God while Siya too smile praying for the successful completion of operation.

DOCTOR- filhal he is unconscious. But soon we will shift him to the ward so that you all can meet him.

The doctor instructed everyone but looking at Ram. He nods his head at the doctor's words.

DOCTOR- one more thing.. I will suggest that.. you all don't wait here. At visiting hours you all can come. Tab tak.. kuch log hi ruk sakte hai..

Said the doctor looking at everyone and then at Ram.

RAM- ok doctor.. thank you..

The doctor smile at him and keeps his hand on Ram's shoulder. He indicates him to not worry and leaves from there keeping their family alone. Ram turns towards his brothers.

RAM- Bharat..tum aur Shatrughan.. maa, choti maa aur ladkiyon ko lekar ghar jao.. it's late night.. kal subah visiting hours me, bring everyone..

Ram instructs Bharat for which he nods his head in agreement. Kranti looks at Ram and interrupts.

KRANTI- me.. me.. rukna chahti hu..

Said Kranti in a request. Ram and Bharat looks at her and then at each other. Bharat's eyes falls on Siya who indicates him to listen to his mother. He nods his head in yes.

BHARAT- ji bhaiya. Call me whenever it is..

Ram smile at him and patted his shoulder. Sumitra moves towards Siya and holds her hands.

SUMITRA- sambhal lena..

Said Sumitra in a low voice for which Siya nods her head in agreement. Lakshman looks at Urmila who indicates him to stay strong. He nods his head in agreement. Everyone leaves from there accept Ram Siya and Lakshman with Kranti...
