You must be a fan of Nihal's singing! If so not a problem I am happy for you. Personally for me I just find it hard to take a guy seriously who himself said he would rather keep his hair than take a spot in the top 15 and then the judges still give him that spot over other deserving candiates. None of my posts are meant to be a personal attack on other's favorites. It's just an opinion. I respect Indian singers and always try to find the best amidst their flaws. I have even said a few times on this forum that I have liked Nihal's performances at times.

We all know that eliminations are bound to happen, but how did the majority of the forum predict that first Sireesha and then Nachiket would leave? If the eliminations were fair then they should come as a shock to us all, right? No one should have been able to predict them with such certainty.
It is the unfair treatment given by the channel to each contestant that is infuriating. Every contestant should be given equal opportunity to sing, every contestant should get constructive feedback from the judges and no one should be disproportionately favored. Is that too much to ask?

I was mad at the gimmick that happened after his megha re megha performance.. Such a drama over n outstanding performance where the other judges didnt even get a chance to praise him! He deserved to hear words of appreciation instead of that prank. Or maybe he got to hear but it was edited

@ sahil I love all the contestants .But found it incorrect for you to talk about his personal choice . Again regarding his hair cut that has nothing to do with his singing and he obviously tries to give his best like other contestants , you assuming something based on that and portraying him as something else doesnt sound good. However it's not even your fault nor his it's the channel to be blamed .They can portray anything for the sake of TRP.

From now onwards it will be bottom 3 only...

Y they given Nihal with smp , want to drag down smp but smp managed well n keep rocking smp .

Honestly I was rolling my eyes a little at the show trying to pretend they were doing something huge for Sireesha by bringing Chitra. She literally knows Chitra personally, she competed in a Telugu show that Chitra judged and in a Tamil show only 2.5 years ago that Chitra came to frequently as a guest judge. Pretty sure she even has her number.

During the entire show, I felt they tried to reduce Sireesha’s individuality by constantly saying she sounded like Chitra. I don’t think anyone who knows Chitra’s voice properly would say that. I’ve watched Sireesha in a prior program and not once did anyone tell her she sounded anything like Chitra.

Re: Nihal, yes you can think he shouldn’t have made it this far (though I like his tone I am shocked he lasted longer than Sireesha, Nachiket, and Anushka) but commenting about his hygiene is totally unnecessary. Clearly the whole hair thing is just a joke for content. He struggles because unlike the rest, Nihal and Sireesha have very little exposure to singing Hindi songs (both in a competitive setting and also for casual stage shows).
Should that be a reason for him to continue out of sympathy? Not at all, but blame the judges or the format instead of him. Personal insults are unnecessary, you don’t know him to say he doesn’t care.

I did not know that Sireesha already knew Chitra ji personally. That just makes Sony TV's gesture all the more hollow.

Again apologies if I offended anybody regarding my last post! I always strive to be cordial with everyone in this forum. However I still believe Nihal should be counting his stars that he has made it this far.
