Scriptures of all the aforementioned religions assure us this is possible and has been proven to be so: the Gita asserts in no uncertain terms that death is no more than a person taking off old clothes to put on new ones. Every few months our newspapers carry stories about the birth of
some child who, when he or she is able to speak, recalls members of the family he or she belonged to in previous lives. Nobody cares to follow up these stories and they disappear from the public mind to be followed by others. So the legend of rebirth continues.

Adam's Bridge, also known as Rama Setu meaning "Rama's Bridge", is a chain of limestone shoals,between the islands of Mannar, near northwestern Sri Lanka, and Rameswaram, off the southeastern coast of India.
Hindus believe that this bridge was built by Vishnu's incarnation of Rama to rescue his consort Sita who was abducted to Lanka by Ravana, as mentioned in the Ramayana. Many historical inscriptions, coins, old travel guides, old dictionary references, old religious maps indicate
that this structure is considered sacred by Hindus. Geological evidence indicates that this bridge is a natural formation and acted as former land connection between India and Sri Lanka.
