See,Virat always wanted to initiate this step from Sai's side, stop calling sir, consider me your family,your friend. And as shown ,Sai is shown running away from the colour, in general,but still,and Virat is the one who has the colour, and as you said pink,mixture of love and purity (pyaar and no vaada , no deal or zimmedari),he is over these now,and he wants to grab Sai in these emotions ,in love,and he does grabs hold of her.
