All set to carry the Olympic torch?

Yes. It's for a good cause. I love sports. I've been a cricket lover but someday, in some way, I'll promote the cause of sports.

Why did you back out from Bachchan's world tour?

It didn't work out. Now I'm planning my own stage shows in a world tour along with a senior actor. My market will be diluted if I do it now. Moreover, and a very important point, I want to wait for some better music of my own. Now it's only Race's music that's popular.

After Race, you're called the New Prince of Bollywood...

All titles sound great. I guess stardom is all about box office hits. I've done some successful films and quite like myself in them. So I think I've earned the title. But there are more accomplished actors than me like Shah Rukh, Aamir, Salman, Akshay, and Hrithik. Today, it's a galaxy of stars shining and I am happy to be a part of it.

How did your kids react to your latest film?

Race has some adult scenes and I could see my daughter Sara intently watching them, whereas Ibrahim was his usual curious self.

Is it true that you've rejected a Rs 30-crore offer?

It was quite a generous and tempting offer, a package deal, but everything isn't about money. There were other important aspects which didn't agree with my thinking.

Your first few productions do not figure your mother and sister.

The idea wasn't to create roles for my family. The director is the captain of the ship. I have never recommended anyone till now. If there is anything suitable, it will be offered to them. Moreover, in her brother's production house, Soha would want to play the lead.

Who complements you best on screen?

When I started out, everyone said Kajol. But Rani and I also created magic, just as Preity and I did. People also think Bipasha and I have great chemistry. Whereas Katrina and I look good together. I think everyone I've worked with looked good with me.

Your mother believes relationships shouldn't be dragged on as they lose their charm.

She knows best. I take cues from all over, balance them, and follow my heart. Every relationship has it's own destiny. If it's meant to be, it will be, and if not nothing on earth can make it happen.

Size zero Kareena is ravishing, but shouldn't she stop here and not lose any more weight?

She looks stunning and is quite an inspiration. I want her to do whatever she wants. She's got me into weights and yoga, too.
