I feel like that will be what it is for sure. She has already asked him before the fact that him being single was brought up today it's all hinting at that. It's possible he will break his promise and if he does then we see that he isn't Shaan he won't let a stupid promise make him beholden to someone for 25 years.

I need to rewatch this episode in peace and analyze shaurya and anokhi
