You are right about most shows being so shallow and melodramatic, initially I was not watching Imlie at all after hearing the concept because there was a show in Marathi with a similar set up, forced marriage in the village and then wife follows husband and lives as a maid in his home... ML marries his girlfriend - it was such a baddddddd show, oh my god 🤢🤢, so I stayed away from Imlie. But then I watched it on impulse the day Aditya landed for the second time in PD and was taken by the show, the chemistry between them, that first eye lock after the bicycle motorcycle takkar, so many shows have meaningless prolonged eye locks, woich ghisa pita tripping and falling in arms, but these two --- haila!!! I was captured --- hook, line and sinker. Had to seek out this forum then, so I could chat with other shippers 😃

Yes this recent accident trip eyelock was so beautifully done and eap ca it had so much emotion behind it that yearning and longing reaching its climax that sukoon of finally having the other one in front if you beautifully done not just for the check off the list thing😆

I do think that they both land in Delhi together but I am not sure how his farewell to Imlie will take place.... It cannot happen in front of Dev so may be he will bump into Dev later on the bus stop or something unless Adi takes him to the doctor and then comes for the farewell 😆

Either PD is going to stay as a raaz between them and I think it will come from Dev because of Anu "keher"😆

haan re ye most recent PD trip, babusaheb in white shirt and jeans, bandaid on forehead wala. That episode aired and that night I binge watched through the whole night for 2 nights all the episodes - kinda ff'ed through some of the anu chaturvedi drama and Tripathi timepass. So sometimes, when I see references here, I have to go back and look.

Am I the only one who is heartbroken at the thought that, for the first time, Imlie and Adi are going to have a secret between them? Especially after Adi clearly told Imlie that she is the one he never hid anything from, the only one who knows everything about him, and the one who knows him better than himself, and now he is forced to hide the biggest truth regarding her life from her. I so don't want them to lose the honesty between them for anything😒

oh my dream is that immediately after he finds out Adi goes crazy and tells Imlie that we both are going back to Delhi and when she says no, he would go, I am not asking you, I am telling you with his usual 'Hum keh rahe hai' we are leaving. and Imlie figures out something is bothering him and when she asks, he can't lie to her and he extracts a promise from Imlie that whatever he is going to tell her wouldn't change anything between them and she would never bring it between them, and she would go back with him to Delhi and once she promises, he drops the bomb on her that her father is Malini's father. and once she finds out, she is irked that he tricked her, but still due to her promise, she can't leave him and pissed at him so wont let him come closer to her.and also forces him to not abandon Malini now... Aditya babu full on angst and trapped mode

And in one episode when Imlie was shot and was in the hospital, Dev goes to visit Imlie.. that time, there was a monologue of Adi where he goes something like who in this world will understand my situation and the next shot was a close up of Dev's face... wondering if that was just a foreshadowing of what will happen if Dev finds out about Adi-Imlie before they leave Pagdandiya

I am almost sheepish to admit this but I also watch Mehendi hai... ( the leads look cute together) and for the past couple days especially I found myself shaking my head.....what a contrast to the depth and poignancy of the dialogs and emotion in Imlie vs the childish dialogs in MHRW. Even if one considers the show is in its infancy, in the first few episodes of Imlie there was so much depth to the scenes and dialogs in Imlie and some of the comic scenes were quite tastefully done and didn't feel crass.

Just sayin', Imlie team rocks 👏

I think issue isn't about whether or not Adi will protect Imlie and make her a priority.....we should regardless brace ourselves that the emotional turmoil he will feel in the wake of these revelations will make him feel off-balance for a bit and he does tend to lash out at Imlie when that happens. Adi has evolved from before, yes....but his fundamental nature still hasn't changed....when he feels helpless and frustrated, he does lash out. Adi sweet ban raha hai do din se toh yeh mat bhulo ki he has a solid temper.....lol it's part of his basic nature....."Hum gusse mein rehte hain"😆.

Ohh, thats a given..... He is going to lash out but at whom is what we have to see......I think while leaving PD, if he finds the truth, he will be in shock and on entering the house if he sees AC doing tamasha, i think he just going to bulldoze his way through it. After everything Malini has done to the T's, I hope he does that and then gets hit with the guilt of "Haaye what have I done "😆Having said that, his emotional state is not going to be stable and if Malini does her rona-dhona, he is going to lose it big time so its better if she is not at T's when he comes back.

Whether he will lash out at Imlie before leaving, I am not sure.... It will all depend on how they stack the cards with the truth revelation. If he is not sorted out his thoughts and Imlie intervenes, then yes he might just lash out for the sake of it as is his way. 😆

@ BOLD - Same thought. Shouldn't Adi wonder ki what if his truth is revealed?! Fir toh gayi bhains pani mein na! Like he has said before "woh fir ek baar is gaav ke nishane pe hoga" And this time Paschim Vihar or Meera Bagh ke nishane pe hoga! I wonder how he will deflect the truth this time..

Has he reached at that point where he does not care for Imlie's sake? Hmm!

Ohh I watch mehendi too but it is my stress reliever, comedy relief , brains in the closest show where half of the time, I am just shaking my head and the other half laughing at the idiocy that goes on there.😆.."Agar mein jooth bolu to mera gora rang kala pad jaye" 🤣😆

waise you are right, I watch the other show for the leads and usually dimaag baju mein rakh ke, par sometimes, especially this week to hadd kardi yaar, kahaan Imlie aur kahaan woh bomb ka scene in MHRW.

Be ready to watch Bahubali mode of adi tommorrow ..why I too feel he going to lash out don't know on imlie or in delhi ya dono jagah ....ya reverse bhi hoga
