Totally agree......Adi se badaa wildcard hai nahin is story mein for this precise reason😆....his impulsive behavior has lots of shades of grey as a human being....and it helps provide layers to every story point he goes through....I think the word I'm looking for is PROCESSING....the way he processes each set of emotions he goes through - whether in good or bad ways....that makes for an interesting watch.

I do like that he's giving Imlie long overdue tenderness and affection....but I also completely will understand why he will be off balance after a revelation like that of Dev....it's a lot to take in😆.

Delhi, Jamshedpur, Mumbai are pretty much a triangle! I dont think Pagdandiya really exists, but going by the dialect it is probably somewhere in the NE stretch between Delhi and Jharkhand (where Jameshedpur is). But when has a lie ever followed any logic! ITV toh aur bhi door ki baat hai...:)

I still want to believe😆 and hope 😆k his first thought will be if Imlie will completely cut him offfrom her life after this revealation😉,and this motivates him to hide this fact to the max level that he could👍🏼

I am almost sheepish to admit this but I also watch Mehendi hai... ( the leads look cute together) and for the past couple days especially I found myself shaking my head.....what a contrast to the depth and poignancy of the dialogs and emotion in Imlie vs the childish dialogs in MHRW. Even if one considers the show is in its infancy, in the first few episodes of Imlie there was so much depth to the scenes and dialogs in Imlie and some of the comic scenes were quite tastefully done and didn't feel crass.

Just sayin', Imlie team rocks 👏

Also how they have done a fantastic job so far at tying the processing each time.. yeah it looks what is he doing sometimes throws us off and We have to really kharach karo our dimaags to make sense of his actions but eventually everything comes together so beautifully that all that mehnat feels worth it.. has happened in every phase of the story

Why single out just that show that is the norm across GEC's which is why a show like Imlie is worth preserving and savoring so much more. Evetybody else is just focused on glossing over spponfeeding khoklapan JUST A FACT. No offense to anybody and has been like this since mid 2015ish kuch hardly with actual content comes.. which is why when I get an imlie out if blue I want to savor every single moment and make sure it gets the well worthy praise it deserves beyond the same token kind of discussions that happens else where simply caz of lack of content in actual material toh phir baat kis mudde pe karein kuch hota hi nahi hai baat karne laayak lol..😆

Singling out nahi re 😳.... just happens that, that is the only other show I currently watch and was drawing contrasts. You are right about most shows being so shallow and melodramatic, initially I was not watching Imlie at all after hearing the concept because there was a show in Marathi with a similar set up, forced marriage in the village and then wife follows husband and lives as a maid in his home... ML marries his girlfriend - it was such a baddddddd show, oh my god 🤢🤢, so I stayed away from Imlie. But then I watched it on impulse the day Aditya landed for the second time in PD and was taken by the show, the chemistry between them, that first eye lock after the bicycle motorcycle takkar, so many shows have meaningless prolonged eye locks, woich ghisa pita tripping and falling in arms, but these two --- haila!!! I was captured --- hook, line and sinker. Had to seek out this forum then, so I could chat with other shippers 😃

I think Dev might not know Aditya’s secret because now Mitti is no longer calling him “ Jamaibabu” so Aditya might just save Dev and take him back because now Dev cannot stay in PD. In precap, Aditya is too far so not sure how much he is heard but if he has heard than there is possibility that the shock might dilute the pain of leaving and he just might be on auto pilot while leaving, compartmentalizing everything till it hits him later.

If Dev find out about the marrriage. What will be his reaction? Mujhe to lagta hain usse heart attack hi aa jayenga. Two daughters married to the same man and he cannot even tell anything to the said man because he is staying in the same glass house. So he know how much Malini loves Aditya but once already he so chosen Malini over Imlie so can he do that again. It’s so freaking complicated. Not that I am sympathizing with him but just wondering what his state of mind will be.


I wonder if Mitti will get her closure though... I have a feeling SK will walk off and If Aditya turns to stop Imlie, then hopefully they will get that conversation without any eavesdroppers. I really hope she gets that closure.😊
