In season 1 even in the most trying circumstances, Krishna did not physically harm his babu..

Phir 3rd episode yeh thapad ki zaroorat nahi thi.

The show had around 700 episodes and the characters expect Shakti went through different phases of redemption.

The new Krishna looked so responsible and devoted towards his kids.

His behaviour was really out of context. In the first place Krishna jumped into a brawl which happened because of the kids. Then he slapped his wife.. without any rhyme or reason.

Is Star exerting pressure on the pH for trps from the very first episode or the day wise impressions are not upto the mark..

S1 was on Star Plus and S2 is on Star Bharat, so viewers and audiences are bound to be different. I watch it on Hotstar.

I hope the writers do not make a mess and just go with the flow..

Good post. I completely agree, the slap was out of context, not necessary. I dont think its for TRP's rather from the promo's itself they have set the idea that Krishna will change and there will be a Kriya rift. They went over the top to to begin the rift, cause those who have followed Pratigya season 1, cannot digest this fact at all. I hope they quit the weed and write the scenes properly, they were out of their minds when they penned this down. Absurd!!

Agree that physical violence was needed by Krishna . May be it's the signs that he is going to become worst like the old Krishna . But the problem is why he isn't telling the truth to Pratigya. It would be better if Kriya together fight against Balwant.

No so many misunderstanding would be created . May be Pratigya and thakur family would start hating Krishna from now on .

Exactly it was not needed.

If this is to get trp by showing zalim ml and mazloom fl than sorry their thinking is not good. I really hope they will not destroy krishna's character anymore. He is usb of the show.

Exactly, why is he not telling the truth to Pratigya? Strange

The slap was needed to emphasize more on the fact that protecting Garv has taken more priority in his life than anything else.

We have seen him misbehave with Pratigya in season 1 but he regretted it immediately after and often apologized too. But we don't see him even think about the slap, let alone ponder whether he was wrong to do that or not.

I see two aspects to his behaviour here. First is that Pratigya has always been the more responsible parent and Krishna sees this as a chance to do the best he can. Also, with Pratigya often risking her life for her cases, he subconsciously no longer trusts her with this information as he thinks she will sacrifice Garv for her ethics. This is a wrong prejudice on his part, but a conflict is needed after all for the show to have a plot.

Also there may or may not be a possibility of preference to protect the male child as we didn't see him getting as paranoid for Kriti when she was involved in the quarrel.

It might as well be just more protectiveness for the younger child as Garv does look a tad more vulnerable, I am just assuming a worst case scenario.

Nice post.

The slap could have been avoided i feel, its out of his character.

Krishna is more concerned for Garv as he is vulnerable. Krishna was there with Garv from the time Garv told him about the incident and he witnessed Garv's fear and trauma, also he has spoken to Balwant Tyagi, Balwant is a vindictive man who will not understand the truth. Krishna too comes from a family like that of Blawant, where justice is an eye for an eye. I believe Krishna fears that if Balwant finds out, he will kill Garv. This makes matters worse.

Krishna is shown to be quite protective of his kids, he throws the rule book out when it comes to their safety. In epi 1, when Kriti is taken by goon. Krishns beats the goon and almost would have shot the guy, if pratigya did not stop him.

Yes, i do too think he subconciously thinks that Pratigya will sacrifice Garv for her ethics, this is where he is wrong. Whenver, Pratigya mentions that person responsible should be punished, her context is murder. Krishna should tell her the truth. Well but if he does, then i guess there is no drama.

Clearly not required and kinda regressive to show him unaffected by that as if it’s something he does on regular basis.

Post that I really didn’t feel like watching the episodes. Just reading updates.

Like many others here, kriya would be better teaming up rather than all this.
