Alright, although Virat has told Pakhi clearly he has no feelings for her and never will, I want your two cents on this. Does Virat still have residual feelings for Pakhi?

Two scenes come to mind, his reaction when Sai mentions Samrat Pakhi wedding while discussing Devi Tai’s wedding and his reaction when him and Pakhi are on the swing and Pakhi mentions it’s her first Holi as a married woman and she’s without her husband.

Thoughts?

Yes&No

yes he considers her as his friend. It’s something like when you liked someone you will always be able to look past their mistakes.

No he doesn’t have any romantic feelings towards her. He is way too moralistic to have feelings for his brother’s wife.

Unfortunately I think he does have some feelings- but not of love perse. I think there’s mostly guilt seeing her state. And he feels sadness looking at her. But it’s hard to tell if he ever wishes that things had been different and they had ended up married to each other. They have never directly shown it but in the Scene where he yells at Sai thinking he’d lost his job and in anger he said I lost meri Pyaari cheez. In anger people often divulge their true feelings. I know he was still coming to terms with the marriage but the decision to marry Sai was one he made after much deliberation so for him to burst at Sai accusing her of being the cause of losing his pyaari cheez was not right. In fact even if Sai didn’t exist pp would’ve married to samrat. But that and the pyaar- dosti slip up when pp left to her maayka makes me feel that there was something left.... but I think he will soon forget and I look forward to the day when he will be indifferent to her existence. She doesn’t deserve his empathy and guilt. Pp made her own bad decisions. She cannot blame anyone for those. I really hope that after seeing her true colors we see virats indifference towards pp.

his reaction when Sai mentions Samrat Pakhi wedding

Tbh, I don't know how many people will agree with me but I think he was just remembering what a painful time it had been for him. And now that Samrat is gone, it was kind of their last memory together. Maybe he regrets not spending more time with him instead of trying to hide from him because of the whole Pakhi issue.

his reaction when him and Pakhi are on the swing and Pakhi mentions it’s her first Holi as a married woman and she’s without her husband.

This one I think has nothing to do with Pakhi per se. He was literally, really talking with Pakhi as a friend. He thought Pakhi is just innocently sharing her troubles with him as a friend. In this scene I can say certainly he was sad about Samrat. He also mentions its his first holi without Samrat (though unrealistic, probably a blooper). This hasn't been given proper screen space but he was really really close with Samrat. And Samrat being MIA affects him a lot.

Whether he loves Sai or not is debate-able but I don't think he has any romantic feelings for Pakhi.

His current feelings for pakhi are completely unromantic. Burden of guilt and as a result, obligation to respect and be careful of her feelings has overwhelmed and finished any feelings of love he had towards her. Now he isn't able to see her as anything more than a friend and family member, and pakhi is too delusional to realise that it is that same sense of guilt towards her that she wants to make sure virat never forgets is one of the reasons why his romantic feelings for her have diminished.

She never realised when deciding to marry samrat just with hope that virat would remain single and in love with her for life that the moment she marries virat's brother, she is putting the final nail in the coffin of their love story.

If I had been in pakhi's place and virat tried to convince me to marry his brother with a promise of celibracy and long-lasting love only for her, I would have refused and not even have considered it given I have the brains to know that how could I live in the same house as the man I love but for that love to remain forbidden to me for life, which would only make things more painful to get over. Also I would have instead told virat that if I cannot marry you then I will never marry, let alone marry your brother.

I think his mind is telling him that he was in love with Pakhi but he can't be with her because he is the wife of his brother now and his heart is saying that he is falling in love with Sai. The day his mind will accept that he has fallen in love with Sai, that day there won't be any Pakhi anymore.

He can take his time I am not in a hurry. 🤣 I am loving this slow love story of them. 😳
