Poor Imlie. She just wants to pack him off - before he does any damage. Does he realize everything he is doing in PG - all the apnaapan will only intensify her pain - esp since he still has no intention to leave Malini as of now. He was so conscious of this in Delhi - even with his familt he did not want her to bond. His brain has been addled.

LOL 😆.....yeah, as of now it does seem that Adi is continuing to rationalize all this to himself as him returning a favor to Imlie by doing the rituals to keep up the appearance of their marriage in front of her family😆.....she never asked him to do all this this time but still he did it....lol and he's claiming he's doing it to return her ehsaan.....that's what he told his alter-ego too....even though his alter-ego laughed in his face and called him out for how bullshit that was....but I don't think Adi has accepted that he's full of it and lying to himself about why he's really in PD😆

Leave or accept the truth...I don't enjoy watching scenes like this - and he needs her validation to accept his feelings? She won't for a long time and that is the punishment for what you did BBSB.

I think they are interspersing these scenes with ones like Malini’s phone call because they want to keep the uncertainty in him alive. He has started accepting a portion of what his alter ego mentioned (by refusing to return her ILU) but at the same time Imlie keeps trying to put this distance between them and that throws him off. Part of it is because he’s never felt any of this before I think.

As far as Imlie’s feelings are mentioned, yes she will probably not accept for a long time but by that time he would have in all probability figured it out and will not need her acknowledgement any longer. The finality is not yet there which makes him want a reaffirmation. And maybe that happens after he sees how Malini is actually wrong. And remember, he has not yet reflected on the NDE yet where he saved Imlie over Malini. That should help him with clarity too.

I guess he is craving for her to call him her pati..❤️ something she did say in intital days but he stopped her at PA.. only hi in Delhi and told her ke aukaat Matt bhulna hum tumhare kuch nahi.. now that she doesn't and he wants it it hurts so he keeps going hum pati ke haq se yahan bhaithe hai caz yahan hona chahiye humein.. apni marzi se naam de rahe hain.. ab sirf ek baar hi sahi he wants her to jatao her haq on him he wants to take that feeling in.. but ab she has totally backed off and while she says rishta uska hai vishwaas uska hai she never gives a name to it even after his cues that come on say it. More like kuch toh naam do.. nisbat jodo mere saath

A lil bit on thr spam side and I apologize in advance but this is the best way one can explain.adi's conflict with himself right now in terms of what does he actually wants.. do not support the subject matter of the film.just a prior disclaimer neither is the subject same here except adi's struggle with realizing his own internal thought

Ok this movie has amazing songs... I keep thinking of these songs for Adi-Imilie, but then it just feels wrong 😵 Still the soundtrack is really beautiful

I was just rewatching the diya scene and some things stand out more in a second watch....the bit when Imlie takes offense to him questioning her logic, so she bristles a bit and tries to push back at him saying "aap sheheri log".....distinguishing him from herself....and Adi smiles after a beat and reminds her that her maasi thinks she's also become sheheri now.....on first watch it felt like he said it to argue back a point....but now I'm thinking he said it again to connect himself with her.....ki agar main sheheri hoon, toh tum bhi ab sheheri ho....mere jaisi😆

But then Imlie shuts him down again by saying, "Why should I bother with sheheri logic when I'm not ever going to go back to the city"? And his heart kinda breaks again😆

And this exactly was what I meant with his roundabout you are my patni and you are coming along.😆 at this point he is unable to.count her as a separate entity from him meanwhile she insists she is.. this is adi ki tadap and consistency in bringing her back daant ke dekh liya taana deke dekh lia aaram se pooch liya shikayat kar di ab just another try to jodo her with him and woh bhi failed caz she was quick to pick onto what he was trying to do and straight came her oh well try harder.. am not going anywhere 😆 no reason for me anymore since you deny me the haq and I Don't want a single thing make am content 😆 resulting in him looking in space making faces again ke kaose samjhayein

Kaise bolegi.... because he only has told her so many freaking times that he is only Malini’s husband and only Malini has haq on him, nobody else... even after the ambulance scene their conversation was on the similar lines that she cannot have any haq on him, he cannot be her husband as those two belong only to Malini but he will not stop her from following the rishta. so she is holding on to only that as that was their only agreement

So, according to her, he has haq on her but she does not because he has not verbally given that to her... Haq and Pati, both right he has given only to Malini and she cannot take that away from her. This is her simple truth. A girl like Imlie who believes in simplicity will never understand backhand questions or meanings. If he needs straightforward answers, he needs to ask direct question. She has told him that life is very simple for her but He himself has made things so complicated that it will take him ages to untangle everything. And he calls her complication. That’s irony right there 😆

Lovely analysis as always AY! Just saw the episode. Looks like Adi has finally settle on “aadat” and “zaroorat”. My gut feeling says he will take Imilie with him to Delhi😄😄
