Absolutely, parental conditioning plays a huge role which is why Anupamaa silently bore the insults from Vanraj till VanYa affair was exposed.
But now apparently she is a stronger woman who wants to "move on" and has repeatedly mentioned that. Had the conditioning to be blamed, she would have agreed to reconcile with Vanraj as everybody is already persuading her to do that.
Everyone can be called a victim of circumstances, but not Vanraj as we have seen him persuade Kavya back into the relationship multiple times when she wanted to quit. Also he has not had an ounce of guilt until he was exposed.
If Anupamaa is still sympathizing with him due to him being jobless and letting his harsh words intimidate her, it is totally her fault. If she has taken a stand to move on, she also needs to detach herself from him emotionally, she cannot move on if she keeps cooking for him and attending to him while attaching her not-so-serious disclaimers that this is the last time she is doing it.
She also needs to realize that she is setting a bad example for others. Giving sermons on how others should lead their lives (read Paritosh and Kinjal) is easy, but not if you cannot incorporate them in your own life. Why does she keep claiming that she will protect Kinjal from exploitation when she can't protect herself and let's everyone take advantage of her?
Not once have we seen her actually punish anyone for what they did to HER (she beat Paritosh and scolded Pakhi for misbehaving with Leela and rebuked Samar for calling out Vanraj but never for herself) So how can anyone call her anything but a sacrificial lamb who volunteers everytime for her throat to be sliced open?
