Aditya consciously chose to marry malini! yes he did tell her about his forced wedding and she fainted and then the doctors "pls be careful" was the end of it, but whatever it may be he told no one else of the PD wedding and went ahead to get married to her with as many love you's ❤️and moon aap mere liye ye hai wo hai🤗 .

now that he's falling or rising with imlie is not in anyone's control but definitely not acceptable😳! if one's husband went away in circumstances like aditya did and then wife realises he's lying and hubby keeps up with lies..it wud be heartbreaking💔! the tsunami of sympathy for her is absolutely fair keeping in mind that imlie is not at fault either! but at the same time aditya and malinis wedding went ahead with imlie's blessing!

He definitely consciously chose Malini. There is no doubt that is what he did. Problem is that he was already married. (This is dependent how you look at it no doubt but since rituals are so important and the theme of this show is that some of life decisions are a "matter of fate" lets say it's valid).

Aditya is not a white character period. There's no way for me to whitewash him, it's not good what's he's done to both these girls and he's absolutely going to feel the guilt/burden/whatever of this decision of his. I don't know about the not acceptable part. So far he has yet to do anything with regards to the first marriage and I still feel for the guy's state of shock and confusion in those initial episodes.

Whether one feels compelled to be for or against either pair is up to them. Looking at it from their perspective, they've just lived crazy events and did their best to handle them. They have and will continue to bear the consequences of these actions and it's going to hurt. Hopefully though, they will also get a chance to grow and develop. Because even for Malini, her relationship with Adi was sad before Imlie. It's great to be supportive of your BF/GF it's not so great to bend to the idea that their work will always be their #1 priority.

Also I'm curious about the concept of not acceptable. It's not acceptable for him to fall for Imlie, but he can't stop himself from doing that (he's tried it's not working right?) So now what. What happens if someone does something that is unacceptable? Do they not get to move ahead with their life? If the idea is he should beg Malini for forgiveness and hope she takes her back, that's fine who knows maybe that will happen. But then Malini becomes her mom, Adi becomes a Dev who is always in love with another woman, and Imlie becomes... well she has dreams that I hope she'll be fulfilling regardless of events coming up. If you're saying the makers shouldn't show this concept, 1) no story to watch 2) real life is sadly complicated and messy and I'd rather watch a messy show then have a messy life 😉

@bold - and that is exactly what she needs to understand. That should be her journey. Unfortunately it is going to be ridden with pain, some caused Aditya’s actions. Some her mother’s. And some her own. As long as she comes out with her head held high by the end of it, the arc should be good.

When we signed to this story we knew that this what will happen! Sooner or later!

The story promo has told us that it will be the story of a village girl which will be forced to marry a journalist due a misunderstanding and that one already in love with another women, so the promo already seated us to a 3 triangle love story ahead!

So if someone feel this is not acceptable, he must not watch the show from the start!

However,

This man really fight his destiny for Millani! For his commitment with her! Tried at first to come clean but it didn't workout, tried to get rid of his jhilli but it didn't work out, he made Imlie's life more hard for her than it already is, blaming her for all what happening, tried to ignore her, and still till now he is trying to denial his feeling towards Imlie and focus on the fact that Millani is his wife and his choice, and the guilt for what he feeling is eating him up!

But common! Don't you feel sorry for Imlie? She will live her whole life as his wife, her dreams and future is shattered, and as a 19 years old girl as the one in her age dreaming of a nice companion and partner with a bright future, every thing is finished in her life, and she lost the hope! She also deserve a chance in life!

And I believe, even if it seamed now it is unfair, and we feel sympathy with Millani ( she made me drop tears for her today really!)

But the 3 of them need to go through this bad time now, so the 3 of them could find a peace in their life later!

Millani deserve to find a true love in her life, which she will not find it in Aditya!

It better to be heartbroken now, than live a loveless married life!

If woman like Malini of 28 years old professor cannot bear just lies from her husband then how could we not feel more sympathy towards Imlie who is just a 19 years old village girl with no support in Delhi and whose life shattered after marriage. Let's not forget Adi babu's contribution in making Imlie's life hell.Alteast now he realised his mistakes and repenting on his past actions. Malini's pain is nothing infront of imlie but imlie doesn't go around T or her own family and declare it publicly to gain sympathy or attention.

Today Malini said that she thought she married the most honest man on earth ! It’s double heart breaking for her that her husband lied and the also he fell from pedestal that she put him on ! It might take a while fir her to gain her trust back.. she may forgive him for lying to her , but she will never be able to look at him with the same respect

But isnt the relation between malini and adi different to imlie and adi. if we know someone for long 7 years and have a set comfortable pattern with them therefore the changes happening from aditya's point would be a shocker for malini.

i feel that malini seeking sympathy from T's is being judged because imlie handled everything very bravely, but is it correct to judge malini by imlie's brave standards?

Millani deserve to find a true love in her life, which she will not find it in Aditya! I cannot imagine being in love with someone to go ahead and marry them, only for the other to realize thei true feelings so late! absolute nightmare..so many dreams broken for one, coz the other person has found another shore..

Even Aditya didn't want that, he fight his destiny for his 7 years commitment relation, so we can't blame him fully, at least he tried hard enough to maintain his relation with her, and I think he will even try harder in the coming episodes, since he now get an idea of what he feels toward Imlie, he will not give up on Millani this fast!

But it is his destiny, till when he will fight himself? At the end he will be tired! If she didn't help him maintaining this relation it will be broking at the end!

The relation needs the two to build up! We cant clap with one hand

So we can't put the whole blame on just one person(Aditya)

We can do this in just one condition!when he don't try to make the relation workout, and suddenly get rid of Millani, and jump to Imlies bed asking for his haq as a husband and her love without considering Millani's feeling

Which is not the case here

I am not watching this show continuously - just checking forum/updates to see how writers are handling this issue... out of curiosity.

IMHO:

- Aditya is not gray - he is totally black - a criminal ( knowingly marrying another woman while he is already married is a crime - I may accept a bit if he was under the medicinal influence in that forced marriage and does not remember or acknowledge)

- I have 0 sympathy for ML - he must have clarified what happened in pd very first time he met his family after imli-adi wedding.

- he has ruined both girls life.
