I think everyone is taking GM's interview too literally on this point😆.....to me, it sounded like he's talking in general terms that people will feel bad for Malini as she also tries to handle all of Adi's confusing behavior with her.....so that's the sympathy Malini will evoke.

But the way the story usually goes, everyone's flaws crash up against each other....so while Adi's reckless behavior will hurt Malini, her reactions in turn will be so overboard that they will create their own mess.....and then I come back to the bottom line....my poor Imliya will suffer the most....with no clue why Adi is giving her contradictory signals and still trying to manage her broken heart and gather the pieces of her life and keep going. While Adi-Malini throw tantrums in their confusions to avoid facing the truth of their relationship, Imlie will be the only one who atleast accepts one basic truth in her life about who she is married to😆.....and she still has the mental strength to keep trying to find her path even if Adi jerks his hand back in his confusions again.

Imlie would be confused with Aditya but Aditya has pushed the fact that he loves Moon down her throat so many times that its become almost as strong as her belief that Aditya is her husband. As I keep saying, she is going to be so hurt but she being she will try everything to patch these two up.

I think Aparna might suggest a honeymoon track as the solution for reconciling these two.....

And that’s my point too, right? Imlie will be the most hurt and always has the most to lose out of the three. So where do I find bandwidth to feel sympathy for Malini or even Adi when he’s barreling along so recklessly? 🤷‍♀️😆

Mehh couldn’t care less if a honeymoon track happens or doesn’t. 🥱.....I’m more curious to see if epis like yesterday are going to become the new norm to feed logon ke romantic fantasies 😆 or if they will circle back to status quo and the core of what makes Adi-Imlie.

In all this alter ego conversation, I forgot about the first part and Imlie's thoughts. Her thoughts were so much filled with confusion ki what wrong with this BBS that he declaring that she is my wife to some unknown person. I was thinking "Same to same" 😆

Plus BBS ne kitne aasani se blame palta when she said that he wanted her to leave him alone and he replied that now you want to do that. This gut That pause after saying "you will be missed" and then adding "by the family". Poor Imlie was so out of sorts. He was like a "Contradiction ki dikhan".

Or he will be back in PD because whenever they bring up the honeymoon track, Aditya lands in PD with Imlie😆

I don't think they will continue with these lollipops,if he leaves PD without hurting Imlie will be a big thing for now.I feel like they are testing waters with these subtle hints.If you clearly see the Sindoor scene his expressions are like uh-oh what did say,but didn't back track too.It's like in the moment and after alter ego scene he went back status quo. Adi will go back to Moon jaap , out of guilt and denial. he will do moon jaap physically, may be his heart will be elsewhere his actions will prove otherwise ,but in the process he will hurt Imlie with his mood swings. it will be like hot and cold

Lol! No, that dang track has to happen I think for this guy to even be able to tell his Mun that they are done. Malini attaches significance to it and was annoyed they could not go the first time around although it was cloaked in her token mahaanta.

Uske baad PD bhaag ke aayega and Imlie will again go baat khatam, rishta khatam 😆

LOL the first scene was actually the most them in terms of conversation and back and forth....Imlie wondering about what Babusahib is doing and saying....but then all of that went for a toss once the sindoor handhold and Adi's alter-ego drama happened. If I didn't know better, I'd say that just like the last song sequence, they faded away Imlie into the background overall to accommodate the mess that Adi is....

Everyone has to clear out a space for HIS realization about what HE wants and WHO he wants😆....only for him to dismiss it all in the next breath. Waah beta....always having your cake and eating it too😆.

The first scene was typical him in deflecting Imlie's direct responses....when she reminded him that he's always wanted to get rid of her, instead of acknowledging that's what he did indeed tell her for so long, he was busy claiming she wants to be rid of him now too......and us sabke baad bhi he had the gall to hold her hand and tell her he will miss her😆. If Imlie wasn't so utterly convinced that he may say confusing things but he only loves Malini😆.....maybe she would question him.....but I guess that will all be saved for a later time.

This is like the gazillionth time that Adi has called Imlie his wife and we are still yet to reach a point where Imlie asks him, "why did you call me your wife if you don't accept our marriage"? 😆

If they don't show a "Yeh hum kya soch rahe hain, kar rahe hain" scene from Adi today regarding all his harkatein from yesterday, then it will start to look like he is consciously taking Imlie for a ride.

If they are testing waters, they mostly got a positive response to the lollipop, no? 😆.....so why won't they do more of those? Most people are gushing over yesterday's epi....very few have a different opinion.

The concerning part only is that a story like Adi-Imlie's isn't made for typical lollipops....there are too many sensitive and complicated issues in the mix.....so that is the only thing one can hope the makers are able to balance in this "realization" phase for Adi.

That is what happened with another ITV show. I am not saying that Malini should not get sympathy, or Aditya should molycoddle her, all I am saying is that the sympathy should not be at the cost Aditya and Imlie's character or relationship.

I do not think that the next track is about Malini's sympathy. Its more about the acceptance of their new reality. Aditya with his changing feelings and the impact that its going to have on everyone around him, Imlie with her own emotional sickness and Malini with her "increasing insecurity and shaki" nature accepting that things have changed and her trust is not bedaag and how they each face this truth of their life.

But you cannot separate one from the other right?

Is'nt Adi's changing feelings going to manifest itself as separating himself from Mun starting on his return to Delhi? Which will make her bechari ... now they can drag it out to start with him mollycoddling her first for a while ... to then slowly distancing himself but that will also hurt Adi's character. Even after being faced with his truth - he chose to ignore it for a while and expound on his mistakes by not realizing his truth immediately - as his alter ego said - not acknowledging the truth now that he has been made to realize his attraction for Imlie - will hurt Malini more.

If he on the other hand embraces his truth asap - and goes to Delhi to rectify with immediate conviction - that keeps his character sketch intact. MAybe the CVS can come up with scenarios that divert the blame to the outside elements that prevent him from sharing the truth...just like they did with the Adi Imlie truth.

For me the distinction is whether he is going to play the guilt game for longer - grovel now with Malini and take time for further reflection - till his emotions overcome him or be the man he professes to be - and act when he is faced with the truth. I'd rather see the latter. As I see it - him playing the Malini is my wife game on return to Delhi - hurts his integrity.

If as you say acceptance of the new reality is the next track - reality is Adi's changing feelings that is again leading to sympathy for Malini. Will it come at Adi Imlie's expense? Based on how CVs tell the story - it can be partly blamed on the destiny's door again...but with Adi concealing the marriage truth - there is no way he will escape the reckoning. If Imlie does the whole - I cannot spoil my sisters marriage bit - she may escape with less impact :) to her character. But it will come at cost to the love story...all the mahaanatha will be too much to bear.
