As far as I have noticed, Astha has always acknowledged her failure as a parent. I think the moment she gets a chance, she will make things right and explain things to him.

In fact the reason I liked Shaan today was because he did not hold himself back and decided to be the parent he needs to be, because yes the damage has been done but its never too late to be better.

Shaan stepped up as a parent today "Ye mere aure mere bete ki beech ki baat hai"

And Shaurya needed to hear it from Shaan because otherwise he was too busy licking his own wounds!

yeah im glad he just grabbed him by the coller and was abt to beat him black and blue. Ofc i don't condone violence. but that reaction was necessary.

I doubt Shaurya ever treated any girl like this though. I am srsly considering he didn't.

I think even if he did make such opinions about some other girl in similar way, he kept it to himself. This is surely the first time he said such things on someone's face.
