Yeah I really need them to realize that in their own fighting, they failed their son. Shaan, while right to rebuke him today, also needs to realize had he been present at all, his son might have had a counterbalance to the bad upbringing Devi gave him. Instead Shaan couldn't get out of his misery. Hope all of these incidents are a wake up call to both Shaan and Aastha and they figure out how they can try and do better by their son at least now.

Yup! As though he is entitled to her affections just because he likes her. LOL she didn't ask you to help her Shaurya. She never did. You chose to help her and you can't expect her to repay you with her affections 🤔

@bold I believe that is why his virtues were highlighted before bringing out this side. Trust me, he is not beyond redemption he might be stubborn and bull headed at the moment but he is capable of reflection. If (I believe they will) the makers actually show the effect his words and actions have had on the opposite person and he genuinely regrets he won't leave any stone unturned to make it better. I only brought the real life repercussions into the discussion because a lot of impressionable young people watch these shows and didn't want anybody walking away thinking this is 'alright'. Which once again kudos to the makers they didn't make it look like it was 'alright'.

Yes, i am glad that they didn't make it look alright. I am glad that she told Astha everything. Unlike other shows, it didnt drag. She didn't hide it bc he was her son. No matter who it is, any woman should not support any man's behavior as such, no matter if he is the son or not.

I am glad the makers made this into a real issue and highlighted so many wrong thinking of men all wrapped into one. No romantic bkg music or eye lock. It was a serious issue and will be shown as one.

I actually think going the way to show that he will have consequences of his words and actions will be the right way to approach and make society realize saying these things is not okay.

Ofc, he does have redeeming qualities and if they are trying to send a message, a good one will be his introspection on his words, asking for forgiveness and never repeating this mistake again.

I am also glad that Ashta told her it's time to take some actions. We cant let him say things and not give him an answer back. In that moment, the screen screamed "women power"!!
