Most old-school desi women would never file for divorce the way Anu did (and I was impressed with her at that point), neither would they easily leave their in laws house/sasural (as Anu didn't either) but those ladies would never agree for their sautan to come and live in their house... never in a million years!

Same way they'd never allow their kids to get away with acting the way Toshu or Pankhi do... and come to think of it many would probably take the chance if their maayke wale are ready to take them in in this situation, rather than flat out reject their offer...

It's starting to become obvious that many of Anu's failings can't really be put down to how she was raised or the society she lives in, and her own personality has a lot to do with it all...

Oh you didn't see that track?

Many months ago (in about October I think it was) Aniruddh came to the Shah family's house and told them that Kavya is having an affair with Vanraj and he is divorcing her for the same...

The next day Kavya turned up at their doorstep claiming Aniruddh beat her up and threw her out of the house... Anu then allowed her to stay for several weeks without saying anything, and all this time she didn't suspect a thing about Kavya's intentions, let alone that she may have an affair with Vanraj 😊.

It was only when Baa had an argument with Kavya and told her to leave that our maide ki katori finally left the Shah's house back then.

Now see why I find it so shocking that Anu allowed Kavya back in the house after THAT history? 😆

oh thanks for letting me know past story that means she is like that from the begening but if you really love your husband you can sense it and try to keep an eye and feel really angry about it . its with all the women every where in the world .

Exactly.

And did I mention that after Kavya left (due to Baa asking her to), both Baa and Kavya lied to Vanraj that Anu asked her to go, so Vanraj got ridiculously angry, SCREAMED all sorts of stuff at Anu and finished by locking her out of the room all night. Just because he thought she kicked out Kavya.

And Anu still thought they were "just friends". 😊

And she continued to think exactly that until she got an in person darshan of her patidev literally romancing maide ki katori on their bed. 😊

And we are supposed to think she is smart 😊.

The more I tried respecting anupama, she does something stupid and falls two steps behind. In the past week, she took the cake, allowing kavya to move in the house and supporting vanraj rather than samar with the nonsense like say sorry bs

She can even be friends with Kavya and Vanraj, which impressed me as people depart by keeping a grudge. But it was just to the extent of friendship I was happy, bringing them home, justifying their behaviour to kids is OTT

In reality, we run after education, I am proud that I'm not running after Love. And here job ke thikaane nahi hai aur ghar basana hai

Self respect what is that? Ghar par dharamshala kholni hai. Jahan Vanya ke bachhe bhi rahenge
