In one department Star should learn something from Viacom. Viacom bring their popular shows to OTT when the tv run doesnt gain trps but online popularity exceeds. Examples like Silsila 2 and Immj2. But with hotstar they only brought Badtameez dil to hotstar that too in 2015. There are so many shows that they could have given a chance to run and complete their stories in OTT platform.

Waise mai tv shows ke ott pe jaane ke favour me hu bhi nd nhi bhi matlb sacchi bolu toh koi bhi show ott pe jaane ke liye deserve nhi karta considering their content so thats the one reason im not in favour of shifting tv shows to ott....nd favour me isliye hu ki fans ko kam se kam thoda aur jada din unka fav show dekhne milta hai
But seriously bolu toh jo shows 100 epi ke baad end hote hai agr woh band bhi hojaye toh fans ko off na karne ki yah shift karne ki ratt nhi lagani chahiye bcz ek taraf hum finite shows mangte hai aur dusri taraf yeh log 300-400 epi ke baad show off jaye toh rona shuru karte hai best example is yrhpk
What was the show about? I heard its name as a child but thought it other shows.
IT’S a concept whose time has come. Zee TV’s new programming initiative, Chausath Panne (64 leaves), Sunday to Wednesday at 8.30 p.m., is airing serials that have 64 episodes. The idea is to show tautly made serials and avoid meandering soaps.
Zee officials say this slot is a result of viewer feedback. "Viewers are getting tired of never-ending soaps. They demand comprehensive programming. They want serials that are fresh and vibrant, not the same stale stuff week after week," says a spokesperson.
The slot will have daily and weekly soaps whose storylines reach their logical conclusions in 64 episodes. And then it will shift to a fresh new serial.
The first in the series is Dil Naa Jane Kyon. And the serial with its strong female star cast led by Kiron Kher, is indeed a gripping, living up to the Chausath Panne philosophy. Gushes a Zee source, "We’ve struck a winning formula." It may have. But the channel would need many more such formulae to topple Sony from the number two slot.

Star pravah pe bhi aisa same concept aaya tha 10 saal pahle.....ek slot pe unhone ek concept shuru kiya tha "Gosht 26 bhaganchi" means kahani 26 episodes ki.....so har month new story aajati thi ussi slot pe

After Chandrakanta ended with cliffhanger due to channel revamp many demanded to shift it on Hotstar to complete the story but it did not happen. That show deserved to shift as the show ended when the main theme of the story actually started. Thats why I am annoyed with IMM2 viewers who are constantly whining for shifting their show on Voot while bombarding comments section of every Colors instagram posts while cursing Udaariyan show for taking its slot. They also bombard comment sections of other posts like of GossipTV and other online news update channel. I get annoyed because at least their show even with low ratings got shifted to web unlike some shows that were much better than IMM2 but still had incomplete ending. Still they are not happy with it but acting childish🥱.

SP pe bhi toh decide kiya thaa unhone 8:30 pm slot ko 100 episode finite series slot banane ka leken sirf trps zyaada aarahi hai ye dekhke they got greedy and let Jinn continue. Jiske reason se Dadi Amma was shifted to 7:30 pm.

Main bhi nahi dekhti music videos. Ye Nikita mujhe 1 show me acchhi lagi isliye main dekh li. Raat ko main new songs bhi nahi dekhti par B4U aur Masti pe old songs dekhti hu parents ke saath.

Jinn ke time bhi sabko pata thaa its finite but still few people requested to extend it to 20-30 episodes par sp ne toh seedha 100+ episodes ka extension dediya due to which Gul was very angry because her finitely written story got stretched.
