In my opinion, it's Sai. When the letter came, Sai instantly believed the letter to be fake. What made her trust Pukit so much to believe he was not lying.

Sai trusted Pulkit when he showed her a college document where he had mentioned Devi as her wife. Pulkit believed Devi was married to someone so he didn't meet her for 10 yrs but he is calling Devi as his wife in the legal forms. So basically he was using another man’s wife's name and Sai knowing all this believes him. If he was legally married to Devi he would have presented the marriage certificate to Sai or Virat when he knew there was a fake letter. Based on this evidence, Sai is ready to help Devi elope.

I think she did get a bit confused when the letter came - that's why she confronted Pulkit later.

But how is she sure, even after Virat got the evidence? Isn't it possible that what was shown to her was the fudged document and not what Virat saw? She herself did a pretty shoddy investigation. And she has already decided to get DevKit married😵.

Agree. Once again she will act impulsive and get Pulkit-Davyani married.

She alerted Pulkit about the letter which was a very bad move. If he was a culprit, he wouldn't have confessed when Sai confronted him . The biggest reason why I feel she is the dumbest is because she is ready to risk Devi’s life without having any pieces of evidence that Pulkit is innocent. Postponing the marriage for few days is much better than a hasty decision.

Also why not wait until Devyani's mentail condition gets better?

True. Of all people, Sai and Pulkit should know that since they are in medical field. It was more important to bring to light the entire history of what happened 10 years ago, what was Devayani subjected to - that made her mentally unstable. And then then move on to therapy and recuperation. Instead both 'famous' doctor and medical student were busy planning a grand wedding.
