Can we get our first ever female Indian idol 1st runner up this year ?

No female singer have been 1st runner up in Indian idol history(season 6, no rupper up was declared, boomi trivedi should have been the sole 1st runner up).

Only 10 female contestants have made it to top 5 in 17 years!! . This year we have the strongest group of girls ever in Indian idol senior.

Can we get our first female runner up or first winner in 12 years??

I sure hope so. Arunita, Sireesha, Sayli are my favorites. By the looks of it, SMP is going to make it into the finale too (regardless of whether I like her singing or not).

The winner in my opinion this year will be between Arunita/SMP/Danish/Pawandeep. So a 50% chance that we’ll have a female winner.

However my top contenders are Arunita/Sireesha/Sayli and Danish
