Why does no one have empathy for Sai?

This girl’s mother passed away when she was born and father, her only family, passed away after she turned 18. Her life is so hard, how come no one in the CN house has ever thought of this? Virat hardly ever thinks of this too. If he did, he would be more patient and gentle with her.

They have no time to process these things in their head... they are so busy with didi's tea..

When Sai came to CN, Virat and Aai both used to mention that but now even they have no time to think all that,, they would be like hope Sai doesn't face any humiliation today

You are talking about Kaku who kept her daughter away from her own daughter. Does she know the love of parents/kids love ? No. And here we are talking about Sai, a girl who is no one to her. The day she entered the house, Virat told her that Kamal Sir died by saving him. Did she care ? No. She cares only about money and the pride of Chavan. Rest just follow her.

Only Aayi thinks good about her. Sometimes Shivani and Tai too. Virat is a ping pong ball. 😆

I think virat, aai do recognize it a little bit the family couldn't care less. They are plain evil and heartless. I dont want anyone to ever pity Sai but its important to remember her circumstances before everyone judges her. In a way i think its her single parent-policewaala father brought-up that makes her so fearless and insaaf pasand. Women - mothers often condition their daughters to "adjust", "compromise" etc. But even though Sai's aabaa did call her out on overstepping when she talked rudely to virat we can assume that for the most part he actually taught her to speak her mind without fear of retribution.

I don’t think there is empathy word in the Chakram vasis dictionary. If there was Devi wouldn’t be where she is today.

If they can treat Devi this way Sai is an outsider and was forced in to the family by Virat. So expecting kindness is absolutely wrong. Like that saying in Hindi I am not sure pattar say moo thodna Something.

The Cgang lives in false pride and have zero humanity.

Virat not treating her properly, I would attribute it as a by product of growing up in CN environment.

Any good qualities Virat imbibed can be attributed to Ashwini Aai.

When they are treating their own daughter this way, when they are the ones responsible for their daughter's condition today and is also saying that I am happy to feed my daughter than sending with naukar, how will they feel anything for Sai?

Can't say no one thinks of her

Virat

Aai

Bua

Even Devi Tai

And now even Mohit thinks for her

Not sure how you are saying Virat hardly ever thinks. He has done whatever he could do and is still continuing to do. Irrespective of whether this was a deal marriage or not whether he had Pakhi as a past or not, this is how he would have been.

He has supported her, given her everything that her Aaba would have given even though he thought he was only taking her responsibility and wasn't actually becoming her husband.

But right after they got married, whatever he had said before marriage didn't mean anything to him, he only acted as how any husband would do.

He has always stood for her, fought for her, tried to keep her happy.

He had become her companion.

Even during the trip fiasco, he pointed out that even Sai deserves happiness, and asked why no one is thinking of her happiness and told them that ever since she lost her Dad she was depressed and was facing difficulties.

Only because he worried for her safety and that because she has no one else but him did he fight with her to not go alone to PD sir's house. How the fight turned ugly is a completely different thing but his intentions to have stopped her were right.

Situations were not in favour for the both of them and he ended up making a few mistakes. Everyone is flawed and so is he.

But that doesn't mean Virat doesn't think of her. He is actually her well wisher.

Empathy is not easy for everyone to develop.. for that you need to put yourself in the other person shoes and know exactly wha they feel..

sympathy is something I would expect them to feel but they lack all good human traits

I agree with your points about Virat. For the story to develop and for the end game Sairat to happen they have to stay together.

But, it’s big but here! If he was Not from this dysfunctional family and was not wearing a ‘Dil ke ache gharwale glasses’, if (again a big if here) he was a sensible IPS officer he would have moved Sai to hostel and would have provided her with all the support and helped achieve her goals. Then they could have taken a stand where they stand in their marriage and what they want Deal wala or Real wala shaadi.

But then we wouldn’t have a itv high TRP drama.

So yes a flawed Sairat are really entertaining us 😉😊

When they don't feel anything for their own daughter then how could we even expect empathy for their daughter in law. Kaku really disgust me, with the way she treats Devyani

As far as Bhavani, Pakhi, Ninad, Omi, Karishma, and Sonali are concerned - there is no hope there. Like many have mentioned, they don't even treat Devi well, all for some misplaced sense of ego.

Ashwini definitely does, and so does Virat - his "outburst" at Bhavani during the Ladakh sequence regarding "if Pakhi deserves an outing because of everything she has been through, then so does Sai - because she has gone through a lot too," showed that clearly.
