I only saw parts of this song once and I never understood it. Not a Badshah fan so generally avoid his trash. Someone pleeease feel free to explain it to me because I would really like to get this song.

I didn't understand why they are lip syncing to Badshah, a man? Is this song supposed to be a satire? Were they trying to say in a normal situation this song would have the exact same stupid lyrics with semi problematic setting but the genders would've been swapped but they are trying to show us how ridiculous this is? So instead of problematic male gaze they are doing female gaze? Because if that was the intention I think they failed. It doesn't look like they are trying to critique anything about male gaze. It looks like they are celebrating it and think women should also have their versions of these songs (same message I got from the movie). Which would've been understandable as well if the song wasn't sung by a male. So other than being "unique" (weird in my book) they haven't reversed anything.

I know. It's as if it wouldn't have been "acceptable" to have a female singer sing it. So, technically it's not reversing anything. 🤢

There's nothing unique about this song. It sounds trash as well.
