Most iconic is definitely Ek Pal Ka Jeena though it isn't even the best song or his best dancing in the film.

I think the poll result speaks for itself.

Most iconic and unforgettable is and always will be Ek Pal Ka Jeena cuz that's an iconic intro of the character in the second half of the movie AND Hrithik as the new "hero" in town ....it made an instant impact on the screen and created a lot of buzz.

That signature guitar step (or air pump?😆), Lucky Ali's voice, amazing lyrics and music composition all blend together to make the song pretty memorable and timeless.

Considering that it's his first dance performance ever, he obviously has better ones like Dhoom 2, Main Aisa Kyun Hoon, etc.

i think you guys have already answered the question. What would have been a beter question imo is which song deserved to be HR's iconic song. 😛 My answer would have been none. The songs above are all horrible, with zero zip zilch musical quality to them. Suck. That's what they do. 😉 😉 😉
