KNK Kahaani Ab Tak

(I'm putting this up as a lot of people have been asking for updates of the full story from the beginning and now I have it written out. If there are any mistakes, do feel free to tell me.)

Kinjal and Neena are best friends. Neena is essayed by a new actress at first but later is replaced with Reshmi Ghosh. Kinjal was essayed by Krystle D'souza and later by Wasna. Despite having different ambitions, different dreams and posessing different personalities, they hold on tight to their friendship. Whilst Neena is a model, Kinjal worked in a marriage bureau. At first, Kinjal's dad was unware of her working in a marriage bureau and upon finding out is aghast, but later he accepts her working there and proudly lets her go to work.

A proposal comes for Kinjal from a guy named Prakash and his family. Kinja's family takes a liking to them and agrees to the relationship. Later, with Neena's help, Prakash is exposed to be a guy who just wants to lap up money from them. The wedding is immediately called off by Kinjal's dad.

Kanav Scindia then enters the show. Kanav is rich, ambitious and ruthless. He makes decisions not with heart but by mind. He only loves and cares about one person in the world and that is his birth mother. He hates his father because his father married his mother's sister. Kanav is always out to prove he can beat them in business and churn out more wealth. On the other hand, his step mom too wants her son to swerve past Kanav's success and his father helps his step brother do so. Kanav's dadi who has always supported Kanav's mom, meets with a pundit ji, who recites to her what he sees in Kanav's kundali. He tells her Kanav will have two women in his life. The second one will be above all relationships seen. It will be more powerful and bonded than marriage vows.

Once Neena meets Kanav, she sets her mind firmly to marry him and only him and tells Kinjal about it. Kinjal and Kanav though don't take a liking to each other at first sight. Neena tells her mother Niharika about wanting to marry Kanav and so Niharika goes to Kanav with a proposal of marriage for her daughter with him. At first Kanav outrightly refuses, not interested in marrying anyone. Later when Kanav finds out that his dad and his step-brother are planning on seeking help from Niharika for a project, he agrees to marry Neena on the condition that, Niharika gives him that project.

Kanav sends a bouquet with a message to Neena who is at Kinjal's house to meet him at a hotel. However, Kinjal reads the message first and is suspicious of Kanav's intentions, so without telling Neena, she goes to meet Kanav at the hotel. Kinjal enters the hotel room where Kanav is supposed to meet Neena and just then Kanav enters but as Kinjal's back is facing him, he doesn't see her face. He hugs her from behind startling Kinjal. Kinjal is furious and twists around angrily. Kanav is shocked and Kinjal angrily tells him she knows why called Neena here, so he could do something to her and before she can say more, Kanav puts his hand over her mouth and pushes against the window. On the other hand, at Kinjal's place, Neena reads the message and arrives at the hotel room to see Kanav and Kinjal close and misunderstands them. After she stalks out of the room, Kanav and Kinjal are unware of her presence. Kanav tells Kinjal he wants to marry Neena and wanted to propose to her. Kinjal is elated and rushes off to tell Neena and to her surprise, Neena is in the hallway. She is angry at Kinjal and walks off. Kanav in turn is angry at Kinjal for messing things up.

Later, Neena realizes Kanav wants to marry her. Neena is elated and very happy to be marrying Kanav. On the other hand, Kinjal learns the truth behind Kanav's sudden acceptance to marry Neena. She is infuriated and spills the beans to Neena. Neena is shocked and questions Kanav but he admits the truth. Despite this, Neena is still firm on marrying Kanav and Niharika now focusses on breaking Kinjal and Neena's friendship. Niharika believes Kinjal to be the reason Neena is so distanced from her. So she and Kanav orchestrate methods to make Kinjal look bad in front of Neena.

The relations between Neena and Kinjal are strained as Kinjal doesn't understand how Neena still wants to marry a guy like Kanav who wants to marry her just to meet his ambitions. Kinjal's dad is kicked out of office on a false charge by Kanav and Kinjal is aghast. Her dad unwillingly with some employees, arrive at the wedding location to protest against his unfair ouster from his job. Kanav angrily calls the police and in the hustle, Kinjal's dad gets hurt. Kanav and Neena do get married. Kinjal and her family take her dad to the hospital. To their dissapointment and worry, they don't have much money for his operation. Kinjal shattered and in pain calls Kanav. Kanav tells her to sign an apology letter in return for the money he will give her.

Kanav's step mom & his step-brother send a shooter to kill Kanav but instead of Kanav getting shot, his dad comes in the way. Kanav's dad dies then. Everyone in the family finds out that in his will, whoever gives the family the first heir/oldest heir will inherit their family's haveli. Both Kanav and his step-brother are eager to get the haveli. Kanav wants Neena to give birth to a child first but Neena doesn't like that because she wants to concentrate on her career first and not become a mother. Kanav is irritated with her. Neena seeks her mom's help to solve the tension between them. Niharika suggests, that they hire a surrogate mother.

Kanav calls Prakash and tells him to find a woman who would be willing to be a surrogate mother for them and they would pay as much money as she would desire. Prakash finds a woman and she is ready to go through with it. That night, Kanav calls Kinjal to bring a briefcase of money to his residence. Kinjal is shocked but obeys and comes along with it. Kanav tells Kinjal to give to a guy in a yellow shirt and it turns out to be Prakash. Whilst doing round, Kanav and Neena are going round the lori fire, and Kinjal is walking round too. The scene shows as if Kanav and Kinjal are taking pheres around the fire.

(this and many such instances show symbolics of Kanav and Kinjal's future relationship. One time, Kinjal is hurt and her feet are bloody and she enters the Scindia residence, and they showed it as if a Dulhann has entered the house and simultaneously the pundit ji says today that woman will enter the house. Also, accidenly Kanav spills sindoor onto Kinjal.)

In the meantime, Kanav's good friend, Vidyut (essayed by Naman Shaw) enters the show. Kinjal has to work in the Scindia Company and her boss is Vidyut. Vidyut takes a liking to Kinjal immediately, though Kinjal is put off with him and treats him as her boss. Vidyut meets Kinjal's family and they all take a liking to him. One day, Kinjal faints because she hasn't eaten anything and Vidyut concerned takes her to the hospital. At the same time, the woman who was to carry Kanav's child is scheduled for the operation that same day. This confused nurse messes up Kinjal and the lady's files, so that Kinjal is inseminated with Kanav's sperm instead of that lady. Kinjal is unaware of all this and Vidyut is surprised that it was taking so long. The nurse realizes her folly and tells Prakash about it, Prakash is shocked at first but then sees Kinjal in the hospital bed, and thinks his revenge will be complete. He tells the nurse to keep quiet.

Kanav and Neena are unware of these developments. Slowly, Vidyut and Kinjal start liking each other and fall in love later on. Kanav doesn't want Vidyut to get too close to Kinjal, so he tries to seperate them by throwing this party and it works for a bit, cause Kinjal gets upset at Vidyut but later, they make up. Thus begins Vidyut and Kinjal's love story.

Kanav wants to meet the surrogate mother and keeps questioning Prakash about it. One day Kanav is all set to know who the woman carrying his child is, when Prakash has an accident and thus the truth is buried with him.

Vidyut and Kinjal's marriage is fixed. However, Kinjal's mother finds out when a doctor checks Kinjal that Kinjal is pregnant. Kinjal's mother is angry at Kinjal and thinks Vidyut is responsible for this. Later, Vidyut's mom and Vidyut and Kinjal find out she's pregnant. Kinjal is so shocked as she doesn't know what happened. Vidyut is shattered. Kinjal's brothers upset beat up Vidyut for ruining their sister's life. Vidyut is taken to the hospital. Kinjal is really worried for him. Suddenly they all stumble upon the truth that Kinjal was accidently inseminated with a sperm meant for another woman to carry someone's child. Vidyut and Kinjal are together again and are happy.

Neena finds out that Kinjal is the woman inseminated with Kanav's child. Kinjal tries to abort the child but Neena pays the doctor to tell her, abortion would be risky for her health. Vidyut still accepts Kinjal with the child but his mother isn't happy. She emotionally blackmails Kinjal into backing out of the marriage. Kinjal puts up a false facade and hurts Vidyut so he can leave her. Vidyut is shaken and leaves for London.

Neena is determined to never let Kanav know Kinjal is carrying his baby. Neena fakes being Kinjal's friend once again yet her motive is to keep Kinjal far away as possible from Kanav. Kanav's step mom and step-brother are hell-bent on taking over Kanav's company and even succeed when Kinjal brings in a file of accounts fabricated by them. Kinjal realizes something is wrong and searches for the real file and presents it to everyone. Kanav's step mom and step-brother are furious and leave. Something there softens Kanav's heart for Kinjal.

Neena instigates Kinjal's coworkers into saying that they don't want to work with a girl such as Kinjal who is pregnant out of wedlock. Kinjal is shaken but Kanav comes to her rescue and says if they have a problem fine, he appoints Kinjal as his PA. Kinjal is shocked as this sudden gesture.

Situations bring Kanav and Kinjal closer and thus every bitterness that once lingered between them melts. There are also times when unconsciously Kanav is drawn to Kinjal because of the baby. On the other hand Neena is determined to make Kinjal sign the adoption papers that she has prepared, so that Kinjal can't claim the child after its birth. She offers to pay Kinjal's mothers cancer treatment IF Kinjal signs the adoption papers of her baby.

Sandhya constantly threatens Kanav by saying she'll blurt out the truth to his mother if he doesn't sign papers that confirm Pranith is the 51% share holder of their company. Kanav angered and frustrated with this decides to teach Sandhya a lesson. On the other hand, Pranith is in his office and Kinjal brings him a file, just then he receives a call and he turns on the speaker. He hears his mom telling Kanav please don't and then Kanav disconnects the phone. Pranith is terribly stumped. Pranith files a complaint against Kanav blaming him for his mom's disappearance. Pranith forces Kinjal to admit she heard Sandhya begging Kanav but Kinjal also says that she didn't hear Kanav's voice at all and thus she kind of ends up saving Kanav.

Pranith's sister Mouny makes an entry into the show. She supposedly has arrived from Australia where she used to live. Meanwhile because Kinjal hit her stomach in the police station, Kanav rushes her to the hospital. At the hospital the authorities question Kinjal as to who her husband is leaving Kinjal speechless and filled with sorrow. Just then Kanav enters her room carrying her medicines and the nurse mistaking him to her husband, asks him to sign the papers.

Pranith is Kanav's step brother and Aastha is Pranith's wife. Pranith, Kanav's step brother and Sandhya, Pranith's mom are having conversation in which they talk of how they don't need Aastha anymore since she isn't pregnant and that they'll murder her and thrust all the blame of it onto Kanav. Aastha who is on the phone listening to this is visibly shaken but as fate would have it, Pranith and Sandhya realize Aastha has heard their conversation. Pranith then later that night murders Aastha.

Before dying, Aastha had recorded a video of herself saying Pranith is going to kill her. Kinjal finds the video and watches it. Pranith sees this and despite Kinjal's protests who falls backwards, Pranith succeeds in taking the tape. However, later it is shown Kinjal has given Pranith the wrong tape and switched the tapes right before Pranith came.

At the police station, Kanav, Neena, Kinjal and the officers watch the tape in which Aastha says Pranith is going to kill her because of the miscarriage she had because then he can't stake a claim in the Haveli Property. The video however is half and isn't complete. Pranith is then arrested for murdering Aastha.

Kanav shows deep gratitude to Kinjal for saving him because if she hadn't he would've been wrongly blamed for Aastha's murder. Kanav is thus is driven closer to Kinjal whilst Neena is getting a bit more insecure. Kinjal later returns to the video store she had found the tape in to thank Ravi. There she gets to see the rest of the tape in which Aastha says that Kinjal's life is in danger as well as the truth behind Kinjal's pregnancy. She reveals in the tape that Kinjal was artificially inseminated with none other than Kanav. Kinjal is shaken.

Kinjal needs to get to the court and Neena gives her a lift. On the way to the court, they get into an accident and Neena dies in the accident. At the same time, Kinjal is having labour pains and is rushed into the hospital. At the hospital, Kinjal gives birth to a baby girl and before she can see her, Niharika cleverly schemes, takes the baby away and tells Kinjal her baby died. Kinjal is devastated and shaken.

Right then, the show takes a five year leap in which Kanav and his daughter Raina live abroad (the one whom Kinjal was artificially inseminated with and whom Kinjal thinks is not alive). After five years, they come back to India and on the same day, Vidyut and Kinjal's wedding is held. Just as Vidyut and Kinjal are about to get married, Raina rushes into the wedding and Kinjal feels something for her. Kinjal is distracted and feels a connection with the girl and the wedding doesn't take place.

Through small encounters, Kinjal meets with Raina and her attachment with her grows further. In the meanwhile, Niharika has brought in Neethi, the woman who was originally supposed to be artificially inseminated. Neethi pretends to be a good, homely girl when in fact she is the opposite of that.

Kanav and Neethi are going to get married soon. Kinjal finds out Neethi's truth and realizes Raina is her daughter in actuality. Kinjal enters the Scindia house as a governess to look after Raina. Neethi and Niharika try many tricks of the trade to get her kicked out of the house and almost succeed, but Raina who has grown attached to Kinjal, insists on her being with her. Raina doesn't take a liking to Neethi at all and Neethi too is fed up of her. After a lot of unsuccessful plans to expose Neethi's truth in front of Kanav, Kinjal finally suceeds to do so and Neethi is kicked out of the Scindia house. Kanav then also realizes, Raina is Kinjal and his daughter. Kinjal's mother then announces to everyone that Kinjal will be getting married the next day to Vidyut.

Kanav is upset and confused. He thinks the relationship him and Kinjal shared was purely based on care and the attachment in the form of Raina. Yet, he feels sorrowed that Kinjal is marrying someone else and wonders why that is so. Mriduta urges Kanav to go and do something. Kanav sets out to stop the wedding and let Kinjal know of his feelings. By the time Kanav reaches, the pheras are taken and the wedding is complete and Kanav is shattered. Just then, he realizes, this was all a plan by everyone and Kinjal didn't get married to Vidyut. Some cousin of Kinjal's had gotten married. All's happy and Kanav and Kinjal finally tie the knot and get married.

Later, all the cast members dance and Krystal D'souza, the actress who played Kinjal earlier came along danced with them, as well as Reshmi Ghosh as Neena.

They all have a blast and dance together and the serial ENDS there.
