If that's the case then the story will become predictable and boring. Also in that case there was no need to promote Vashmay as one of the lead couples. What's the need to showcase their love for so many days when ultimately they will get separated for years? Won't the promos and trailers become misleading then?

At the end they will reunite. They have to.
