Anushka’s personality is calm, people must’ve found her very boring and sleepy hence no votes :/
Judges/Channel have a lot of power. They eliminate contestants using previous week voting information. They will mark accordingly to save / eliminate. Sometimes they will send a highly voted contestant to make sure that a good contestant with marginally lower votes gets eliminated. (Elimination = Marks and votes)
In Idol 10, they used Ankush and Nilanjana to eliminate Soumya. It had nothing to do with Nilanjana or Ankush's performance - they were just marked down.
Also in Idol 10 they tried to save Kunal till the end by never sending him to the voting test. In fact the judges used to ask for votes for him. But in the end they had to make him face the fans, and he got eliminated the only time he was sent to the floor.
So marking and strategy is used seamlessly till the last 6 or 7 to eliminate as per channel/judges choice.
After that it is very hard for them to make anyone win if they have failed to generate public support through exposure/airtime/comments and "Mausams!" :)
