Between Naivete and Slander

I've forgotten who made the precap prediction about Adi completing the "I love you" song, but congrats, aap watercooler jeet gaye👏😆.

And on that note, the makers seem to have started going back to daily precaps again😆.

The episode felt mostly like a filler, IMO....especially the entire extended first half with the whole family pranking on Imlie about the stupid "family mantra". Malini DIDI decided ki Imlie baahar khaane nahin jaa sakti warna studies interrupt ho jaayengi.....lol ok😆

Once again, Malini didi ki den ki Adi-Imlie ended up in the house together by themselves and "I love you" moment ho gaya😆. The whole thing was pretty dumb as a premise and had the potential to veer into more slapstick territory but what saved it were GM-ST as usual😆.....Adi's irritation with this entire dumb prank, then him blurting out the "I love you", Imlie laughing initially at the silliness of it all but then that moment of pause when she opens the door and he says it to her again to her face.....and both of them kinda freeze in awareness for a bit before Adi rolls his eyes and tells her off for believing this dumb prank.....lol.....but then again, a little poignant switch from Imlie as she smiles in a bittersweet manner that she only realized this can't be a real thing when she heard him say "I love you" to her....aww Imlie😆.....ST plays all this so well.

The other thing I enjoyed....Imlie's little study session as she tries to memorize what "hippocampus" is and her conclusion that it means puri duniya bailbuddhi hai🤣.....

In terms of "drama", we had the Chaturvedis conveniently already there at the restaurant that Nishant picked for his dumb surprise😆.....only notable new thing was AC openly accusing Adi-Imlie of having an affair in front of the entire family....this time she didn't mince words - she made a pretty direct accusation😆. Bechaari naazuk dil waali Malini DIDI stormed off in anger on hearing this from her mom....bas itna hi.😆

Thankfully atleast Papa Tripathi took a stand and told off AC for not only insulting Adi but also slandering Imlie's character.

I have no idea why I'm supposed to care that Nishant bought a car😆....seriously whatever....please make this character a little less boring.

Precap seems to be AC getting more "credible" ammo than usual to make Malini suspect Adi-Imlie of an affair...those were some weird camera angles trying to make it look like Adi-Imlie were so close.....I'm like when he has he ever leaned in that much to talk to her?😕😆...kuch bhi random.....lol but since we've already seen Atif bhaiyya ka insta video, we know ki iske aage aayega "trust" wala convo between "made for each other" couple Adi-Malini and sab hawaa ho jaayega once again😆.

Hard to find a coherent theme for the epi but the only two things that stood out to me were Imlie's naivete and the crassness with which AC slandered her in the last scene. Maybe that's the build up the writers are going for *shrugs*.

When I saw the family round table, i was like -- skip... and then had to rewind.. to hear them give the family secret mantra... Poor Imli again she was the target of their teasing and her yearning for acceptance, as a member of the family, lies deep within her. That which she lacked all her young life. That is why the apnapan makes her become a ullu. Her achilles heel.

It was cuteness to see ST studying hard and making an effort. BS had to come home just then who was already chid chida since the morning, is in even more of a sour mood, consumed by his work on exposing the criminals. He is a man on a mission.

Ofc when he comes homes, Imli makes him take the test, give the secret code else will not open the door.. lol.. BS is frustrated and wants to get on with his work.. gives in after berating his jhalli, sings I Love you. Wow, Imlie is transformed when he says to her face but then a dash of cold water when BS says do you really believe that, they made a fool out of you. The scene was so well done by the duo.. how she still stood in front of him denying him entry into the house. he had to ask her to move.. 🤣

The restaurant scene I kind of skipped but heard AC throw some awful accusations at Adilie... It was good to see the T's take a stand and Dev unable to control his wife.

The precap was all angles I feel, and something big is brewing. Adi might get hurt this time and Imli might save him just like she did at PD, when she saved his life by agreeing to marry him. Just an excuse for Anu to fill Malini's head with her insinuations. Plant a seed of doubt. Water it slowly now.

Updated my precap on page 5: They are the same restaurant to do jasoos on the bad guys, Imlie somehow came with Adi, would not let him leave after he told her he was on a mission. Now they are acting to get some info, pakde gaye by sasuma and biwi#2, then all that heavy duty baashan on bharosa from Mun.

You echoing my thoughts exactly about the whole thing it could've gone so wrong I liked that they kept it in the moment and moved away wig inkoe slightly introspection and then negating..her reaction mostly made it believable jitna bhi and adi ka being pissed at the lameness and just saying it as matter of fact..his jhunjalahat was very well done and relatable to me on personal level ke kya BS hai man when you know it is me nodoubt hai toh mere pe hi yeh lame thing try karna hai 😆 but the only thing that I registered more was him haq se asking her in between his frustration ke.hum hai Aditya humari awaaz bhi nahi pehchanti kya lol get done done this

I think I will probably like it a tad bit better as a stand alone caz I was too.frustrates otherwise with the way the family set up the lameness and imlie believing it still knowing ke kitna wahiyaat hai even though her intent was so innocent as always.. aage peeche itna kuch tha for leaving a bad taste too much michmichi

Waise Aditya Shakti Kapoor kyun ban raha hai precap mein?

I hope AC Imlie ko dhoye kal ke episode main. Dhulayi ki zaroorat use hi nahin, Aditya ko bhi hai. Thinking that his neeyat is saaf is not enough. Living in a society is difficult for a reason. Sher banke phirna aur real main sher hone main farq hai. And Aditya is nowhere close to being a sher just yet where Imlie is concerned. Imlie ko reality check ki zaroorat hai. Apna kehne main aur hone main farq hai. She needs to understand that. And the makers think that too. Destiny will obviously keep them in the same house but ripping off the bandage is warranted.

The second half felt slimy. Like what parents do not defend their own son? Even when he is not there? And Aditya is not even a criminal to not support him from being constantly abused.

Some things worth pondering on, although I'm not sure if the writers are trying to build a theme here😆.

The last time Adi-Imlie's characters were slandered was in Pagdandiya....when Nakli Naani accused them of sleeping together and it all escalated into Adi's life being in danger, and then Imlie stepping in to say she'll marry him to save his life.

Now again today, Adi-Imlie's character was slandered publicly....by Delhi ki Nakli Naani a.k.a AC😆......once again, they were accused of having an affair......will this lead to another high voltage incident in their lives? We do know something is coming up related to the underworld issue....so will Adi's life be in danger due to that leading to another big event happening in his and Imlie's life tying them together?

Despite the filler feel, the writers did touch on a few themes today.....the concept of bharosa was mentioned a lot....Imlie feeling touched that the Tripathis have bharosa on her....reassuring them that she will live up to that bharosa as she manages the house in their absence.....lol then the "I love you" moment....and Imlie saying tabhi bharosa hua yeh sach nahin ho sakta jab aapne bola.

And now tomorrow will be a convo on "bharosa" between Adi-Malini triggered by whatever insinuations will come out of AC/Malini seeing Adi-Imlie together.....so it does all seem to be building towards some high point regarding bharosa.

Haan I think I liked it better also cuz I was prepped for the scene thanks to aapki advance WU😆....warna bahut bheja fry tha of the family scenes before that.

All in all, I think Imlie ki Imlie-ness saves a lot of things many times....ST was just so pyari even though they tried to show Imlie as a dumbo....she did that scene so cutely when she's like Sita Maiyya kyun humara ullu banvaya Babusahib ke saamne😆

LMAO😆....even I want to know what is up with that. Simply to justify AC's cheap accusations, they are suddenly showing Adi-Imlie like that😕. Baad mein hi reveal karenge ki kuch camera angle ka dhoka tha and maybe Adi was leaning to pick up something from the floor😆

Yup that was evident throughout bohat logon ne bohat logon ke ek dusre pe bharose ko question Kia aaj in different ways ab dekhtein hai kiska bharosa sahi aur kiska galat niklega...

I think my major irritation today is with the way the precap is shown mujhe bohat tack vibes aa rahe hain I can't unsee it how they put the question on the innocent bond today .. and because you know my pattern watch precap first I couldn't focus or enjoy anything else today

But yes the big bharosa and underworld definatly it will blow into something.. guess imlie might be the one saving adi ki life too.. hence proving their bharosa on each other that they keep denying . Jo bhi hai can malini plz go back to chaturvedis let imlie be there for adi with him I just want that for now..

Bus I just pray k itni voltage ho k hamare dil sambhal paaye...🤔AC Malini scene n Chandrama the dukhi aatma k rona scene mood kharab karne wale hain kal n am preparing for that :/

Yup it is her one liners like that which makes such scenes work for most of the times...I liked ke she immediately realized ke ullu ban gayi yeh🤣 instead of bhaith ke getting feelz out of it but still itna drag kia tha set up.of this too to fill the space ke mera patience jawab de gaya tha by the time we reached to the actual part.. ST was endearing nodoubt and so was GM with his what nonsense they both did gel well to not make it cringy
