To me it felt like Sunny is slightly lesser version of Salman. In any of their duets Salman is better. So Sunny's season I felt Rohit should've won. But Salman's season no one was better than him

That is not true! He has been given good song selections but he just hasn’t been singing them well. Complete lack of emotions in singing to the point where sometimes I can’t even watch his performances.

lol. People keep saying that they are sick of Shanmukha's western style of singing but to me I am totally in love with her style. It's definitely not easy and the changes she is making - seems original. And if anyone knows her talent as a child - she is a great classical singer and sing the raga from the tune.

those who are expecting - she will be out of comfort zone with different style of singing - 🤣

We all know she won’t get out of her comfort zone, she has no reason to. The judges seem to be raving about her and she’s safe every week.

But as an audience, many of us do not enjoy it one bit. We can hope, even if we know we’re hoping against hope.

And if you enjoy her singing, that’s good. Each of us is entitled to an opinion.

I think she is a good singer and has that ‘rocker’ personality /stage presence needed for performances. She has confidence in her and her singing ability

Good sound is in the ear of the beholder 😆

I think she is very confident on stage and that's good. But to me, I do not enjoy any of her performances. Not because she turns them "western" but because they just all sound bad to me. Of course, I am not a music expert but as a member of the audience, that's how I feel.

Basically you either love or hate SMP's singing. There is no in between. Same case in our house. My dad loves what she does but not me.

And of course, no one is right or wrong about that (unless you're an expert in music). It's just difference of opinion.

Yes, I do think Anjali is very talented, but I find it hard to get into her performances.

They are over hyping others who are less talented . Smp is way a head of them in talent , she is very talented n international level , she is international star n deserves all d hype which is needed . Actually judges are useless to say about her talent , smp deserves Indian idol n she must come to American idol n international level also .
