Firstly, my thoughts might be baised as I admire the character of Veer the most . Any show that I have watched before were on the same lines . Opposites attract for me. The last few episodes were boring for me with out much of Veer so from that I can safely say Veer is my fav character . I watched maha episode on zee5 and just loved it.

My take , Rani is in her own world. She loves her bauji the most . Rest whatever she has done so far is out of the goodness of her heart . Bahurani , the promise she made to her father . She is keeping it still. Wife is nowhere in the pic , the words she uttered after entering Veer room and in the lawyers room she cut Veer's call as baujis case is more imp. Rani is a bahurani right now as per her promise. There was no promise regarding becoming a wife of Veer. There is admiration , attraction for Veer . Maybe right now he is at the same level he was before he was seen at the accident site.

This show is different from others its core base remains love ,both RanVeer have for their parents. Ranis bauji is a great guy . Rani is a product of her father's teachings .

Veer is keeping the promises he made to Ramu kaka and to the villagers . In the maha episode he again mentioned why she should study in Jaipur because she is the bahurani of Rajawat parivaar. The love he so far recognises is the love he has for his Ranisa , the lady he can't call mother . He only calls her mother in front of his biological mother. There was attraction when he saw Rani with open hair. After that only Rani started wearing it open . I feel they r on an equal footing where love is concerned. So only admiration, attraction is there. Veer is ranis hero and Rani is somebody who Veer feels is too good .

I really loved how Veer understood Rani had something imp to do so she left without doing prasad. He filled in for her and Rani would never tell the truth of Ranisa knowing how hurt he would be. I feel the husband wife thing has started by these gestures on part of both. Veer has started holding her hand in public and she is ok with it. Now they have ever started to communicate better , last scene of episode.

Frankly confused about what happened in the lawyers office .

Rekha 🤗 missed you! I fully agree ❤️ you spoke my mind here.

I think part of all this goes back to what Kate said. Because they’re expected to be together, to be in love, to be husband wife, some of the things between them are happening “fast”. It’s like the expectation is guiding them. Nothing wrong with that. I assume many arranged marriages are similar. But I think it’ll be different when they start feeling unconditional love for one another. I feel Veer is a step ahead of Rani in that. But I’m fine with Rani being in her own world. In a way I want Veer to make space for himself 😆

Same! Veer is a step ahead of Rani though. He is attracted to her and there is slight hints of love. I like calling him lover boy Veeru in this phase 😆

For me,

Veer is in love but hasn't realized it yet. His inconsistency is because of Ranisa. His Heart can't let go of Ranisa yet. Her opinion still matters the most to him, which is why he started showing more care when she accepted their relationship. He is also afraid that Rani might never reciprocate his feelings. If Rani showes the slightest jesture that she accepts him as her husband, not just because of her goodness, the society or her Bahurani promise, Veer will be a gone case.

Coming to Rani, I agree with you all. Rani is stuck with her Bauji and the Bahurani promise. If someone asked Rani to leave Veer forever to free her father, she would do it without hesitation. But, this might change after the ME. Veer is back as her mentor and protector. She might see him in a different light after that. I think a conversation with her father where he explains the importance of a husband again will do the trick.

So, my opinion is Veer is in love but still in denial, but Rani is a little behind in the love equation.

Yaso 🤗

I feel inconsistency shouldn’t be there if one is unconditionally in love with another. That’s why I keep saying Ranisa is a barrier for him to cross (and probably the last barrier). Plus if he fully falls for her because she accepts him, it’s not as powerful as him just falling for her outright unconditionally. Love doesn’t have to be tied down to the husband wife relationship or reciprocation.

Agree about Rani! But I still think she won’t leave Veer without a hesitation. She understands the husband wife relationship and it’s importance (perhaps even better than Veer).

UL - I agree. I meant he will not express much emotion, if he feels Rani is not in the same page.

Bold - Rani does understand husband wife relationship, in theory. But just like Ranisa is Veer's barrier, Ramadheer is Rani's.

As you guys said, communication is the solution here.

Yaso , Rani will take time. Until she got hurt after Kabadi match Veer didn't let her come closer. So she is still scared to move on.

Plus as per her knowledge Veer is the reason for her bauji to be in jail. Her heart does not trust it but even we won't be able to accept it, if she let her feelings out to Veer before knowing the truth.

Since they are in the same room ,hope we get to see them communicating to eachother as it's really important on a relationship . Hope CVS work on it rather than Saas bahu or kitchen politics .

Building up a relationship is more important than Saas bahu because this is not a marriage that happened willingly . It was forced. Now only they have started to move. Divine intervention should come here.

CVS pls stop Saas bahu or kitchen politics . Fed up of it. Since November you went on this route. Now enough.

I agree. Rani has more barriers than Veer. Saas bahu is not even relevant anymore. But I am sure the track will bring them closer.

True about both. Veer won't be explicit until Rani gives him a green light. But I think he will still show love through small acts, mostly unintentionally, like he is doing now.

Ditto. It will happen unintentionally. When you are in love certain things happen un intentionally.

The CVs did one good thing, they gave us Birju. He is the epitome of a lover. It is so refreshing to see his love for Rani. It's so pure, the no strings attached kind. He built himself to be a capable man for Rani. When he found out she got married, his heart broke but he respected their relationship. He understands what a marriage means. When he found out Veer was going to hurt her, he confronted Veer himself and told Veer he wasn't good enough for her. When Rani told him to not come between a husband wife relationship, he backed off immediately knowing his boundaries. When he got to know his love was still suffering, he came to Jaipur to support her. He just wants her to be happy. That is the beauty of it. We didn't see Birju making any promises yet we still see the purity in his love.

Whereas we saw Veer making a million promises but breaking them all in moments. Actions do speak louder than words. In my first post in this thread, I asked "to truly love is to be selfless - is Veer truly selfless?". The answer is still no. Veer's care for Rani is conditional on Ranisa and Rani doing good for his family. Without those two conditions, his love and care disappears. He might feel attracted to her but it is nowhere near true love. I change my question now -- will Veer ever be able to love Rani unconditionally and selflessly as Birju does?

Thank you CVs for giving us Birju. Not really looking forward for you to butcher him like you butchered everyone else. smiley10
