It's a wonderful movie and one I can watch over and over.
The only part I could do without are the Kabir lead pranks - too juvenile to be funny.
You mean Imran (Farhan Akhtar) lead right? Thank you for spelling it out. I especially hated the phone throwing one. What kind of prank that was supposed to be even.🤔 In fact it would’ve been a better movie if they completely edited out Farhan’s character. His entire track dragged the movie down tbh. Despite all that, the movie is a wonderful watch and can watch it very many times without getting bored.

I love ZNMD.... it never gets old for me either.
@bold: If I remember it right, Hrithik was the victim of most of the pranks .... 😆 cuz he’s so uptight at first. Do you mean the “paitra” trick? Poor guy spills all the beans there. 😂

Not most but he was basically the butt of ALL the pranks that happened in the movie and he was also the one who had a better character arch in terms of growing up as a person.

I think Farhaan played an important role in being a major pain in Hrithik’s @$$ ...😂 I wouldn’t say that I’d remove him out of the picture altogether but I agree that his character could have been written better. I didn’t really get the whole “clown on the outside with an old soul” persona... though I did love the poetry by themselves.

The spill the beans prank was actually funny because it's clever.
Zoya said the one they originally scripted for Hrithik's character wasn't embarrassing enough for Hrithik so he gave Zoya the suggestion for the arranged marriage one they used in the movie. 😆
The ones they pull on strangers like the bathroom one - not funny at all.

One and only, in fact! 😆
I was just exaggerating but yes, the movie is what it is because of all the characters for sure. They should’ve just toned the pranks a bit down I thought.

I still couldn’t help but laugh cuz he was the perfect candidate for pranks with his uptight personality. 😆True about the character development .... Hrithik’s was the most well written. The other two got over their own struggles too but I couldn’t really tell what the other two “realized” in terms of their outlook in life... and they didn’t change much either.

I was upset that he threw away his nice phone. Looks like that prank really got me because that was the only thing I seem to have remembered after all these years.😆
But yes, Hrithik’s personality was the pranksters dream come true. 😆

She gave superlative performances in 2 clean hits. Barfi (2012) and Mary Kom (2014) yet not a single recognition in terms of awards. This was...
