24Feb21 - Vir in jail for killing Vaibhav - Episode review

Hello forum-wasis🤗

I normally post my epi reviews in the EDT, but in an attempt to encourage more discussions on the main forum, Ziva had the superb idea of posting it here...so here goes..

In the first scene, Vir is looking so devastated, he still can’t believe he shot Vaibhav! Yes, he does believe Vaibhav deserved to be punished, but to have pulled the trigger on a brother young enough to be his son...his disbelief & horror is so painful to see!

Anjali is as vicious as ever…trying her best to poison Prakashi against PurVir. At this stage it doesn’t seem to have worked…let’s see how they shape the future tracks. When Prakashi says ek nahi do do bete khoye hain maine…my heart really went out to her!

Loved the way Purvi stood up to Anjali…haathi nahi sherni banker! And the poem/rhyme she taught the kids is so sweet

Paas ho ya door

Koi bhi kare kitna bhi majboor

Khushi ho ya gham

Zyada ho ya kam

Harenge nahi hum

The scene when Purvi is praying I got confused. From what she says, I think she knows Vaibhav is alive, coz if she is hiding about Priyu, why will she tell Prakashi that everything will be alright soon?

At the cremation ground, the interaction between Vir & Prakashi was very touching! But I feel it could have been more impactful if Prakashi had not said anything but just kept her hand on Vir’s head when he bent to touch her feet…Vir’s dialouges were very good, but according to me Prakashi’s dialoges diluted the scene a little bit. Her forgiveness to Vir is demonstrated most when she asks asks him to give mukhagni…the dialouges were a bit of a stretch for a mother who just lost her son, just my opinion. But again…superb acting by Supriya Ma’am & Amar…Vir’s remorse and Prakashi’s grief were both so palpable that I almost felt bad for Vaibhav dying!

I really really hope the makers do not turn Prakashi grey, I understand that there is a lot of scope in that direction, but she is such a sweet character and one of the few examples of a good MIL we have…please do not spoil that!

PurVir dinner date…such a cute scene it is...Bawari ki bawarihi rahegi

And tauji is back…I’m so happy to see Vir joking about her tau again…ajeevan karavas…jail mein bhi peecha na chod raha Tau tera

My babies looked so adorable feeding each other…there is such contentment on their faces inspite of the situation, because they know that they have each other

Great idea indeed 👍🏼 n the way you decode the episode n individual thought process of each character is 👏👏👏 aise hi Humari aatma ko apne analysis se tript Karte rhe Di ❤️

Exactly Prakashi has brains vo to she's currently devastated by sudden loss in her family (both Vai n Vir) but she's not one of those Jo suni sunayi baari par yakeen kare 👏🔥👏 Anjali phir apna katwaygi 🤣

@bold can't agree more 💖 it would be fine if Prakashi even used harsh words for Vir coz of how torn was she and slowly forgave him I want Prakashi to b grey but not for purvir she can be shown as a strong woman who knows to kick ass when needed n at that time she doesn't give a damn about anyone 🔥that would also suit her aura of being a sethani n would justify how Vir got his swag 😌

Exactly! It is expected that she will be angry/upset with Vir. But she should not hold it against him or Purvi! She can be shown as smart & assertive without being grey...par I suppose this saga-sautela track will be too much temptation for the makers to avoid
