Not many sci-fi are made in India. Krrish was a nice attempt. And I even liked the picture. Just that it was a way-too Indianized. I would have loved to see an out-n-out action film. Love Story 2050 seems like one. I recently saw its promo, and it was, like the slickest promo I have ever seen.
They have beautifully depicted the Mumbai city in the year 2050. So, there is the Gateway of India and way above it, lots of cars flying, there are robots, and a futuristic couple. I also read somewhere that there are kids, too. Now, this a added plus. Its difficult to please kids. But if you can, you have hit the bull's eye.
Now both there are two things that are important here. the hero and the subject. The subject here is quite interesting, a paagal scientist, a couple, some kids, flying cars, robots, sci-fi story, in short, perfect children-material.
The other important detail - The Hero. Hrithik is clearly a hot-favourite here. Talk to any kid and see his enthusiasm while he discusses Hrithik. Koi Mil Gaya was bang on point. Magic, alien and a flying Hrithik. Krrish was a follow up. Again, bang on point.
Harman, somehow has the same fresh appeal that Hrithik had when he debuted. Somehow, I have this feeling that Harman will be loved by the kids.
Priyanka is already going good, but this film will catapult her to a different category altogether.
Here is the exclusive trailer of the film that I received from one of my friend working with the post-production department of the movie.
Have a look, and let me know what you guys think.
