@Huma, they did ask for nominations on their socials...IDK if that played a part in it or if it was just some marketing ploy...

And quite honestly and cynically speaking, even SC's PR is very strong. Again, not taking away from her win, but I think there's some truth to your point.

I have no clue how these awards work but I do think SC did have a strong contender in Rupali Ganguly the lady who plays Anupama. I have watched some episodes and the lady is force to reckon with. She does have a lot of experience on her side but she’s a brilliant actor. But she does have a solid storyline and good show to back her up. Just gutted she didn’t get the recognition she deserves because she’s the reason the show is where it is. I guess in a daily you have the scope to do various scenes etc compared to 52 episodes that Sc had. SC just had SM LOL nothing else was in that show to back her up (apart from her acting obvs!). But SM deserved all the awards for Veer. There has never been and never will be a character like Veer and he bought that character to life.

I think that's the reason RP didn't win and chandu won because in 52 eps she showed her mettle. Chandu showed that she can carry the show (not belittling sm's part but you get it!!).

And as you said rp is a brilliant actor but along with her acting there's a lot that made her show what it is but for N5 it was just sc and sm.

That's what the givers must have had in mind vrna toh rp hi jeeti. That's all i can say about it!!

That's why I'm jut so angry that sharu didnt win. He freaking deserved it.

I only ask because DD getting an award through a jury does not make sense to me personally. I am sure he can act but he hasn’t been given the scope to. So it might be that.

Toh ab icon bhi honge?? But ig usme toh sm aur sc nominees nhi ho payenge na..coz by the time those come show would've been over for 5-6 months!!!
