Chapter 7

The days passed by and it was quite long after that confrontation and Arnav and Khushi saw less of each other. Their work made them stay away. And to top it they didn't even have scenes together. One or two that they had were also of a certain argument. Arnav had started feeling angry over every silly mistake anyone in the sets did. His little confrontation with Khushi had evoked old feelings inside him that increased day by day even though he had decided that he was not going to think about her. But it seemed that whether he is with her or away from her, his mind was always occupied with her.

As for Khushi, she was missing Arnav a lot. She wanted to meet him and talk to him but it seemed things were not setting straight. Something or the other kept cropping up and she could not go to him. She wanted to see him desperately. She wanted to make everything clear between them.

Arnav was having his shoot with Lavanya. He had to hold her hands and then hug her tightly after a series of dialogues.

Khushi stood at a distance taking support from a big door frame and watched the scene progress. Arnav's closeness with Lavanya was hurting her and making her angrier. She was frowning her heart out when Arnav's gaze fell on her in between the shot. Seeing her looking at him and Lavanya, he felt uneasy. He tried taking his eyes off and concentrate on the scene but unknowingly his eyes drifted back to her.

Khushi realised that her presence was making him feel uneasy. She took in a deep breath and her frown changed to smirk. She looked at Arnav with a piercing gaze.

Arnav looked at her again and yet again he felt constrained. Her eyes seemed as if they could penetrate through him. He couldn't remove his eyes from her.

"Cut!" The director's voice made him break eye contact. "What are you doing Arnav? Concentrate!"

"Sorry." He said and continued the scene.

"You need to tell me what did you do!" Khushi screamed on the phone as she sat in a thud on the couch. She was really frustrated.

"I am really sorry for what happened, I don't want you to hate me." Came the reply from the other side.

"I already hate you." Khushi spat. "Just come and meet me in 24 hours or you're finished. Did you get that, Mr. Shyam Manohar Jha?"

And she cut the call. She needed to end it. She had decided to clear everything bringing Arnav and Shyam face to face. She didn't know the consequences, she just hoped for the best.

The next scene was emotional and romantic of Arnav and Khushi's. They had to confess their feelings to each other. But none of them were excited about it. Khushi was all tensed up and Arnav, angry as usual. But they knew how to keep it professional.

Action!

"I'm sorry Antara." Kabir said holding his ears.

"Don't try to pacify me. I'm not affected by any of your words." Antara turned her face away.

"Really?" He said coming closer. "You are not affected?"

"No." She replied.

"Not even if I come near to you?" He asked.

"No." she whispered.

"Even if I hold you like this?" he cupped her face bringing it close to his.

"No." her heartbeat increased, and she moved backwards and bumped to the bed behind.

"Not even now?" he brushed his lips lightly on her lips.

N.. no." her voice betrayed her, completely.

Arnav didn't let her speak further as he sealed her lips with his, sitting down on the bed. He traced his tongue on her lower lip asking for permission. He bit her lip when she didn't open her mouth. She gasped letting him explore her mouth. He tasted every corner of her mouth. She tried to fight back with her tongue.

He pulled back when they were out of breathing. He rested his forehead against hers looking deep in her eyes. Tears rolled down as she clenched his shirt as she closed her eyes again. He claimed her lips again resting her back on the bed he moved down kissing her arms.

He pulled her up and she sat on his stomach with her legs on both sides. Arnav smiled tracing her smooth legs.

Khushi bent down and captured his lips biting them. Arnav held her hair and pulled her closer. She removed his shirt buttons one by one kissing his chest every time she opened a button. He felt his skin burn every time she kissed him. He pulled her up when she reached his abdomen and rolled.

Now she was beneath him. She traced his shoulder and brought her hands behind his neck pulling him closer. Arnav kissed her neck moving her top off her shoulder, kissing her milky white skin.

He lifted her slowly kissing her neck. His hand reached her waist as he slowly started pulling her top upwards.

"Cut!"

And then their eyes snapped open in shock. Arnav's hand left Khushi and they were brought out of their private bubble. A not so private bubble. They were disoriented at first and blinked and looked around.

Arnav got off of Khushi and straightened himself, tucking his shirt back in his pants. She too tried to look a little presentable and resized her dress.

Both of them looked at each other awkwardly. Arnav left the place balling his hands into a fist. While Khushi's heart was still beating the fastest.

Was it just the scene they shot, or did they just really made out?

Khushi has asked Shyam to come see her. This has a potential to backfire. Arnav may again think they have something going on.

Chapter 8

Me and Khushi are just costars but if you are expecting anything else, I am sorry!

She read the screenshot again posted on the Instagram account of their fanclub and sighed heavily. Locking her phone, she put it away.
Isn't this something that he always said? It has been six years since they knew each other. He had been her support in the worst times, been her guide, her friend, her strength since the very beginning. But things did turn ugly. They were probably only supposed to be friends and yet it happened. He affected her. She could never forgive Arnav for what he did but she had realized that she had never stopped loving him.

Action!

As she ran out of the theater doors and towards their car, Kabir continued to follow Antara.

He eventually reached her as she attempted to open the car door.

He spun her around and got extremely close as her back hit his car. He placed both arms around her, effectively caging her against his car and looked into her eyes.

"Stop touching me anytime and anywhere. It was a movie date for god's sake!" She spat.

He closed in on the space between them and she closed her eyes.

She felt his warm cheek brush against hers and his breath met her ear.

"I just wanted to be close to you." He whispered into her ear.

Her pulse sped up and she felt butterflies in her stomach as he placed an arm around her waist and pulled her closer than he ever had before.

He pulled away slightly to look into her eyes again. The tips of their noses nearly touched.

As she closed her eyes once more, she felt him loosen his hold on her. She opened her eyes and found him stepping back. He looked at her for a while and sat inside the car, waiting for her to settle in.

What happened to him? Khushi wondered.

"CUT! PERFECT! Just the reaction I needed from you!" Karan, the director exclaimed.

"Karan! What's going on?" Khushi screamed as Arnav stepped out of the car.

"Let me explain to everyone. There's been a slight change in the story."

"Slight? You're changing the story and you call that slight? You didn't even inform me." Khushi was shocked as she turned towards Arnav. "And neither did you!"

"Not a big change. You'll still be falling in love. But he's going to ignore you. He's never going to fall for you. He's going to hurt you instead, emotionally." Karan said casually.

"And may I know why this sudden change in script?" She fumed.

"Khushi, Arnav..." Karan stammered. "I should have told you before. This film is a collaboration with another director."

"Who?" She asked while Arnav waited for the answer.

"Shyam Manohar Jha."
