I always thought visuals are everything they can carry a whole show or movie and make them hit or make them flop if they are not good until I saw s8 the moment I realize sure great visuals can save a media core writing but no way they can save something as horrendous as got s8 god

This is might be the most beautiful and powerful shot in the history of television and here I felt nothing

There is a reason why we want a particular female lead to experience indifference and hurt at the hands of the male lead. It's because we are emotionally connected to the male lead and have seen how selflessly he has loved her, while she ignored it completely.

And I just want ki the show just includes these emotional moments too. Monologues or just a scene where the characters are shown in deep thought, without any words will suffice. I was super disappointed when Vir's pensive scene after the shawl moment wasn't included in the final edit.

But yeah let's enjoy this journey the cvs are taking us on.

I am completely with you on this! ITV doesn't seem to be a big fan of showing characters introspect but either monologues or Purvi writing her diary would go a long way in us understanding her state of mind. It would be so nice to have a scene where she is sitting down with a cup of tea and thinking/writing about how her life has changed in the last few months...par yo chakkarghanni ko fursat kahan, sirf Vir se takrati rehti hai😆

Why did she stop writing the diary, BTW? May the entire purpose of diary writing was Vir reading about her ideal husband and now that is served I hate it when they keep loose ends like this!!

@bold - kaunse scene ki yaad dila di yaar, I still get goosebumps

Yes! Purvi keeping a diary would have been such a great inclusion. I feel one of the shows that used this technique in order to give ethe viewers a sneak peek into the psyche of the characters was Zindagi Gulzar Hai. Something like that would've been such a great thing.

P.S- Arre woh scenes toh itne baar dekhein hain ki ab zubaani yaad hain 😂😂

Zindagi Gulzar Hai was an amazing show

The thing I absolutely love about Pakistani shows is that they don't have villains, any misunderstandings or angst is created by circumstances, not people! At least in the ones I have seen. And there is a subtlety which Indian shows cannot even dream of!!!

Why can't we make shows like ZGH or Dhoop Kinare 💔

True! And maybe one day we'll have shows like that. The tastes of the populace is changing
