Why can't we accept Sirat and Kartik lovestory? What's wrong? - Page 3

Entirely agree. Kartik moving on would have been so much more agreeable if they did it with a character like Rhea & after he had begun processing his loss. Recasting Shivangi without a short-term plan to reveal her as Naira is cringe max.

Sirat is closer to Krishna's age than Kartik's. Plus is more immature than Kairav+Vansh+Krish put together. And multiple socioeconomic classes below Goenka's domestic staff. The power imbalance is insane.

IDK why OP refuses to accept that our problem isn't with moving on, rather the way they are showing it.

The problem is not with moving on. Do people move on after their spouse's death? Definitely. But they don't move on within a few months or with their dead spouse's look-alike. That is where the problem lies. KaiRa, like many other ITV couple are supposed to be soulmates. They live and die together. At least that is what has been shown till now. And Karthik is the same person who refused to move on for 5 years after Naira's supposed death. That was when he didn't have any other responsibilities like young kids, who depended completely on him. So it is really unbelievable that he will move on so fast now. Also Sirat's age and her resemblance with Naira are also problematic. She is just 21, a age when you want to live life completely and make a name of your own. Now she would be paired off with a man who has lots of emotional baggage, who is much better off than her and has a great more life experience. Also Karthik will always expect Sirat to be Naira. Sirat, as a person, won't have any value in his life. It looks like he is with her only because she has Naira's face. And that is completely unfair to a young girl like Sirat. Now the most important thing (form me) is that ShivIn has become completely stale and repetitive. And that is because of the overexposure of KaiRa. They seem to lack that charm and aura they once had. And what new can they show in Karthik and Sirat's story that they haven't already shown with regards to KaiRa. It will be like watching the same scenes again. And that is extremely boring.

Why are u assuming so much? How could u say that they cant be happy together bcoz of the age gap or Kartik's past? Everyone has flaws and no one is perfect. There are many couples with huge gap living happily. Why cant Sirat be happy? Why do you want to search for compatibility in everything? Love is love and it is not affected by such things. Why dont u say that as a fan you dont want to see Kartil with some one else. Story ends. Why to exaggerate so much?

Age is just a number. If two people are in love, it hardly matters. I am quite sure if Shivangi didnt come back, the show would have been off air in a few months. So the CVs cant cast h with someone else even if they want to. And at that time all the forum members, would have made posts on rhea and kartik as an unacceptable couple due to Kaira being an eternal couple.

@bold- 🤣🤣 I don't give two hoots about who Karthik is paired with. Anyways, there is no use of further arguing with you. You have already made up your mind that anyone who has a different opinion is KaiRa fan. One piece of advice though, just go through the previous topics on this forum before making such assumptions.

Agreed u are not a Kaira fan. Then why do you bring age gap, sirat's face and kartik's past as a hurdle? It is also possible that bcoz of her face, he gives her a chance and he finally finds that even a different person than Naira can win his heart. He may also realize that not only Naira's heart is good and worth loving. But, also Sirat's heart is good and so was Vedika's but poor girl didnt get a chance. But Sirat can actually change his mentality towards love and he can actually start loving her for who she is and nit just because of her face.

Eww no. Age is not 'just a number' when one party is too young+poor to legally buy beer & the other is billionaire in his late 30s. It's absolutely nothing like a 31yo dating someone in their late 40s. That's a popular excuse that creepy old men use to pray on vulnerable young women. Insistence like yours only helps normalise that predatory behaviour.

And the show isn't dependent on Shivangi. It survived Karan leaving, it survived Hina quitting. If they wanted to kill off Naira, they should have stayed committed to it. Removed either Shivangi, or her & Mohsin both. Whatever's happening right now is hella creepy.

I'm not that invested in Kaira so I can accept Kartik and Sirats love story actually I'm quite enjoying this new phase. People are so obsessed with Kaira that they don't care what track it is,if it makes any sense or not they just want Kaira. Even now they would be more than happy if the makers just twisted everything and made Sirat Naira but I for one would hate that.

There's no realistic storylines in this show anyway, so it makes sense why people would insist on Kaira. When you give them over the top, exaggerated plots than how can one expect the audience to want realism? 😂 It wouldn't be consistent with the show. Anyway, like others have pointed out - it's not just them "falling in love", there's other reasons why it would be problematic. Such as the social class difference and how the Goenkas have historically treated that, as well as Sirat being a mother to two kids. She has other aspirations too, why is it that shows always insist on dropping the female's visions once she falls in love? So that she can settle in with her new husband and take care of her new household - all that stereotypical bahu shit?

Uh are you watching the same show? Otherwise you would know the person is making assumptions based on historical trends seen throughout the show. It's not exaggerated, one can flip it around and say you're simplifying it far far too much. Like "love is love and not affected by such things". I have to wholeheartedly disagree with you. Love is a complex emotion and there's multiple facets to it. Sorry but you yourself are making assumptions about the people here that disagree with your comment lol.
