I can give basic idea about abortion. Mostly do abortion in first trimester. Timeline is 1 week to 12th week. It's safe not life threatening at all. In ishani's case it's a second trimester if she was really 4 month pregnant. Nowadays people even go for abortion in second trimester(13 to 26 weeks). Mostly if they have some physical complication. People face many problem like infection & bleeding etc. But with the development of science most of the time it's not life threatening. If ishani has some other serious issue( which I don't think is issue here) then it can be threatening. But nowadays it's not threatening.

Baki show mein kuch bhi dikhate. Itna hi serious hoti toh kuch ghanto mein yeh thik kaise ho gayi.
