There's a faction in the Harry Potter fandom that things ki JKR is not truly as liberal as she tries to portray herself as. One of the biggest reason is ki she retcons so many things to show that she is accepting of all people.

So basically with Dumbledore, she dropped the bomb that he's gay. Toh jab yeh reveal kiya ussne back in 2009-10 everyone protested saying ki aisa toh books padh ke samjh nahin aata. But after years, it became established as canon ki Dumbledore is gay. Toh jab fantastic beasts ban raha tha, with a young Dumbledore, people wanted her to show him as a gay character. However film's director said ki they will not explicitly show ki Dumbledore was gay. Toh everyone on Twitter was super angry kyu ki aap sirf ek character ko gay nahin bol sakte just so you get LGBTQ+ community to buy your books but in the end, actually you'll not show that character as gay.

Then recently she dropped those tweets against trans-people and sparked even more controversy

Yep...and then the stars who played different roles sab against bolne lage...even I don't think jkr ne sahi Kiya....

But uss series ka story ko writer ke personal thinking and tweets je jod dena isn't correct i think....
