Technically he hasn't said that for word, it's more due to his actions that give away that's what he demands of her.... remember how he behaved in the alta track? He even said to his family you should have forced her etc when he got to know she refused to wear alta. If his family told him sai refused to do a suhagan ritual meant for him, then why did he get so worked up over her not wearing alta if he himself says to her that the deal is she cannot expect anything from him, yet he is allowed to put lots of expectations on her like her having to do suhagan rituals for him even if she doesn't want to or completing household chores juggled with her studies. Now he does have every expectation from her the way a husband does, and he has not actually acknowledged this or realised it that he himself is not sticking to the conditions of the deal he himself set.

It's not about the allergy dear. It's about the fact that virat bare minimum was told sai had refused to wear alta for her suhag, and virat actually found it acceptable that she should be forced to commit to all suhagan rituals whether she likes it or not despite himself having said to sai not to expect anything from him.

Does he actually feel it is acceptable now to force sai to do wife duties even if he is told sai doesn't want to? It makes no sense anymore. Virat himself is confused whether he considers this a real shaadi or not with husband-wife expectations given how he gets possessive and tells her not to participate in dance competition when he hears another guy's name from her mouth or expects her to be forced for rituals that a wife is expected to carry out for her husband's welfare.

This has been on my mind since the last couple of discussions- why doesn't he want her to become financially independent and get her own money? It can't be due to lack of time...

actually all this police related stuff can be sorted .. as he himself works in the same department.. so all the official paperwork could have been sorted from Nagpur itself ..but there is no clarity as such .. whether she has access to her fathers gratuity pension .. her father had taken VRS so what would they have lived on if he was alive .. where is that money

Second he died on duty while on service so his only heir should have been compensated

How is sayi poor to not be able to pay college fees .. a state topper will get admission in state medical college which is not that expensive.. even without scholarship she can afford it

Infact virat spoilt her chances by marrying her .. she would have been an unmarried dependent girl child of a slain officer .. so would have got her fathers pension properly .. now she having the marrried tag . Loses the dependency on father ..

He was her fathers superior . He should have thought of all this while marrying her and explained to GC folks who were putting pressure

So it needs to get done asap. Sai would have enough money then to pay for much of her own expenses plus she should have a scholarship for her great academic achievement too where all expenses are paid for. This show is being ridiculous. They just want sai to be completely dependent on virat so that when it is convenient to writers they can have sai insulted.
