Haha good one. Although I think Saif and Kareena are the biggest attention whores who put up their son for sale, I really don't get why they can't name their sone Taimur 😕 I mean no one really knows or cares about the Timur ruler or whatever.

Alexander is such a common name, I doubt it has any negative connotation to it these days. Some women also have that name (Alexandra) and we call them Alex.

Charles Manson definitely makes us shudder but the name, Charles, seems pretty harmless by itself. There's British royal prince Charles to redeem the name a little too. And come on now, Ted? After watching Schitt's Creek (Canadian sitcom on Netflix), Ted is as lovable as a teddy bear to me now. 

Jack the Ripper is there but there's also Jack, the CEO of twitter, who is now a hero after banning Trump .... 😆

Anyways, just felt like picking on those, don't mind me. Did Vamika remind you of Vladimir and all the other variations associated with Vlad? Is that what you're trying to say? 😆

To be honest, I didn't really know who Taimur was before little Taimur hit the town either. I also highly doubt that name was well thought out by Saif and Kareena... 😆

I always knew him as Tamerlane (angrezi medium). So it took me a hot minute to connect the dots to Timur. 

At first, I was like why do Indians hate Russian filmmaker Timur Bekmambetov. Or maybe they hate Timati. Or maybe they just hate Tatars (Timur is one of the most common Tatar names).  

Back in the day, so many conquerors ransacked each other's empires, including those in present day India. I always found it odd to hold a grudge against a Central Asian one. But then Tamerlane was a Muslim and the great-great-great grandfather of Babar. So I guess that explains the hostility. 

Tamerlane always reminded me of Tamarind though. Now Taimur, Timur, all remind me of Tamarind.

In that case nobody deserves to be named karna either. He was eve teaser. But i don't think name really matters. Someone can name their child ram/krishna/sita etc and they can still turn out to be bad. So ....

Nobody deserves to be named. Period. 

Can we add Richard Ramirez to the list of names you should not use? You know, the night stalker, serial killer. Since we shouldn't be using anyone who has propagated violence
